진로글쓰기 프로그램이 초등학생의 진로발달에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 세상과 개인의 삶을 연결하는 사고를 하게 한다는 진로교육과 글쓰기의 공통점 을 토대로 진로글쓰기 프로그램을 구안하여 적용한 수업이 초등학생의 진로발달에 어떠한 효 과를 미치는지 확인한다. 진로글쓰기 프로그램은 2015 학교진로교육목표의 대영역 순서에 따라 자아이해와 사회적 역량 개발 2차시, 일과 직업의 세계 이해 4차시, 진로 탐색 2차시, 진로 디자인과 준비 2차시 로 이루어지며 감상문, 설명문, 광고문, 기사문, 편지문, 전기문의 갈래를 적용했다. 진로발달 검사도구는 이종범(2005)의 진로발달검사지를 사용했다. 자료의 처리는 실험집단과 비교집단 의 사전검사와 사후검사에 대한 t-Test를 실시했다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로글쓰기 프로그램을 실행한 실험집단과 비교집단의 진로발달 점수를 비교한 결과 진로발달 전체와 진로발달의 모든 하위영역에서 실 험집단의 점수가 비교집단의 점수보다 유의하게 높았다. 또한 진로발달의 하위영역인 자아인 식, 학업ㆍ직업탐색, 진로계획에서도 모두 실험집단의 점수가 비교집단의 점수보다 유의하게 높았다. 둘째, 진로글쓰기 프로그램을 실행한 실험집단의 사전-사후 진로발달 점수를 비교한 결과 진로발달 전체와 진로발달의 모든 하위영역에서 사후점수가 사전점수보다 유의하게 높 았다. 또한 진로발달의 하위영역인 자아인식, 학업ㆍ직업탐색, 진로계획에서도 모두 사후 진로 발달 점수가 사전 진로발달 점수보다 유의하게 높았다. 이를 종합해 보면 진로글쓰기 프로그램은 초등학생의 진로발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것이 입증되었다. 또한 초등학생의 진로발달의 전체적인 수준과 진로발달 하위영역별 수준을 모두 높이기 위한 효과적인 진로교육 방법이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study examines the effect of a career writing program on the career development of elementary school students, capitalizing on the inherent interconnectedness of career education and writing that links individuals to the wider world. The career writing program consists of self-understanding, social competency development, understanding the world of work and occupation, career exploration, and career design and preparation. Lee Jong-beom's (2005) career development test paper was used as the assessment tool. Data analysis involved conducting t-tests on the pre-test and post-test of the experimental and comparative groups. The study’s findings are as follows: First, when comparing the career development scores between the experimental group, which underwent the career writing program, and the comparative group, the former demonstrated significantly higher scores across all sub-areas of career development. Notably, the scores were significantly higher in self-awareness, academics, job search, and career planning—sub-areas of career development. Second, upon comparing the experimental group's pre- and post-test career development scores, it was found that the post-program scores were significantly higher than the pre-program scores in all sub-areas and career development as a whole. Again, the scores were higher in self-awareness, academics, job search, and career planning. The study confirms the positive effect of the career writing program on elementary school students' career development. Moreover, it suggests that it can serve as an effective career education method, enhancing not only the overall level of career development among elementary school students but also the competency in each specific sub-area of career development.
