국문 초록

이 논문은 윤봉길 의사(이하 존칭 생략)의 생애를 포괄적으로 살펴보고 자기희생 리더십을 접목하는데 목적이 있다. 이 글에서 자기희생 리더십은 스스로 위험을 무릅쓰고 자신의 목숨을 바쳐서 조국 독립을 달성하려고 했던 의지와 실천이라고 정의했다. 윤봉길은 어릴 적부터 글을 바탕으로 자신의 능력을 발휘하고 마을을 중심으로 다양한 조직을 구성해서 주변 사람을 계몽했다. 그는 성장하면서 말보다 글, 글보다 행동으로 독립운동에 앞장섰고 더 큰 뜻을 펼치려고 중국으로 망명했다. 윤봉길은 가장 소중한 생명을 바쳐서 독립 의지를 세계에 널리 알렸고 독립운동의 기폭제가 되었다. 그는 살신성인의 정신으로 자기희생 리더십을 발휘했다고 볼 수 있다. 이번 연구를 바탕으로 독립운동가에 어울리는 리더십 이론이나 관점을 다양하게 적용할 수 있어야 한다. 앞으로 독립운동가 리더십 논의를 더 확대해야 국가의 정당성을 높이는 동시에 인물의 정체성을 확립할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to comprehensively examine the life of Maeheon Yun Bong-Gil martyr and incorporate self-sacrificing leadership. In this article, self-sacrificing leadership was defined as the will and practice of taking risks and sacrificing one's life to achieve national independence. From an early age, Maeheon Yun Bong-Gil martyr exercised his abilities based on writing and formed various organizations around the village to enlighten people around him. As he grew up, he led the independence movement with writing rather than words, and action rather than writing, and moved to China to further his cause. He sacrificed his most precious life to spread the world's will for independence and became a catalyst for the independence movement. Accordingly, Maeheon Yun Bong-Gil martyr can be said to have demonstrated self-sacrificing leadership in the spirit of a saint who lived and died. Based on this study, we should be able to apply a variety of leadership theories and perspectives suitable for independence activists. In the future, discussions on independence activist leadership must be further expanded to enhance the legitimacy of the country and establish the identity of the individual.
