국문 초록

순암 안정복은 성호 이익의 대표적인 제자로 현재까지 문인보다 학자로 더 잘 알려져 있다. 그래서인지 그의 문학에 대한 접근은 아직까지 소략한 편이다. 이런 상황은 그의 학문적 영향 아래에 있는 순암 계열 문인들 역시 마찬가지이다. 이들은 모두 문인보다 학자로 인정받는데, 문학을 바라보는 안정복과 순암 계열 후대 문인들의 시선은 다양한 지점에서 만난다. 이들 모두 자신의 문학론을 밝히지 않았을 뿐만 아니라 문학을 바라보는 시선을 선명하게 확인할 수 있는 글도 남기지 않았다. 안정복이나 그의 학문적 영향 아래 놓여 있는 순암 계열 문인들의 경우 시와 문장의 학습 대상과 내용, 창작 목적과 방법, 의미와 가치를 구분하였고 이를 선명하게 인식하고 있었다. 따라서 이들 모두 문학에 대한 각자의 확고한 인식을 지녔다고 생각되지만, 이들의 문집에 남아있는 글만을 보면 이들의 문학론은 전통적인 문학론과 별다른 차이가 없다. 그런데 이들의 문학론은 본질적인 부분을 같이하면서도 구체적인 실현 방법 즉 창작론에서 조금씩 차이를 보이며 서서히 변화해 나가는 모습을 보인다. 그 변화의 방향은 문학의 독자성, 작자의 개성 인정이다. 안정복에서부터 황덕길과 허전, 허훈으로 내려오면서 이들의 문학론은 점차 문학의 독자성과 작자의 개성을 인정하는 방향으로 움직인다. 그 발걸음이 성큼성큼 걸어가는 큰 폭의 움직임은 아니지만, 그래서 당대 문인 일반의 발걸음보다 뒤늦은 걸음으로 보이기도 하지만, 그 걸음이 계속된 것은 분명하다.

영문 초록

Sunam Ahn Jungbok is a representative disciple of Seongho Lee Ik and is better known as a scholar than a writer. Perhaps that's why his approach to literature is still insignificant. This situation is the same for writers in the Sunam faction writers under Ahn Jungbok’s academic influence. They are all recognized as scholars rather than writers, and the attention of Ahn Jungbok and Sunam later Sunam faction writers who attention at literature meet at various points. Not only did all of them not reveal their literary theories, but they also left no articles that clearly confirmed their view of literature. In the case of Ahn Jungbok or Sunam faction writers under Ahn Jungbok’s academic influence, they distinguished the objects and contents of poetry and sentences, the purpose and method of creation, meaning and value, and were clearly. Therefore, all of them are thought to have a firm perception of literature, but their literary theories are not much different from traditional literary theories if you look at the writings remaining in their works. However, while sharing the essential parts, their literary theories show a gradual change, showing difference in creative theory that is concrete realization methods. The direction of change is the independence of literature and the recognition of the author's personality. As they descend from Ahn Jungbok to Hwang Deokgil, Heojeon, and Heo Hoon, their literary theories gradually move toward acknowledging the uniqueness of literature and the author's personality. The step is not a big step to take, but it seems to be a step later than the steps of ordinary writers of the day, but it is clear that the step has continued.
