국문 초록

국제결혼의 증가로 우리나라의 다문화 가정 비율이 높아지고 있다. 농촌의 경우 대도시에 비해 다문화 가정의 비율이 높은 편임에도 불구하고 이들의 사회 적응력을 돕기 위한 심리 지원 프로그램은 절대적으로 부족한 실정이다. 그러나 인공지능의 발달로 농촌 아동에게도 심리지원 프로그램을 적용할 수 있는 가능성이 커지고 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 농촌 아동이 대면할 수 있는 다양한 심리적 문제를 살펴보고, 이를 개선할 수 있는 효과적인 인공지능 심리지원 프로그램을 문헌 연구를 통해 고찰해 보고자 한다. 연구방법은 문헌 연구를 중심으로 수행하였다. 지금까지 연구를 볼 때 농촌 다문화 아동의 심리 문제는 언어 및 의사소통, 정체성 및 소속감 부재, 차별과 괴롭힘, 교육적 어려움, 부모·자녀 간 관계 등에서 기인한다. AI 기반 심리지원 프로그램과 전통적인 대면 프로그램은 각각의 장점이 있지만, 농촌 다문화 가정의 청소년에게는 접근성, 비용, 상호 작용 측면에서 AI 프로그램이 더욱 효과적일 수 있다. 이러한 도전 과제들을 극복하기 위해서는 농촌 지역의 특성을 잘 이해하는 동시에 기술적 전문성을 갖춘 접근방식이 필요하다. 이를 위해 정부와 지역사회의 긴밀한 협력이 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

As South Korea experiences an increase in international marriages, the proportion of multicultural families, particularly in rural areas, has risen significantly. Despite their prevalence, rural regions face a severe shortage of psychological support programs aimed at aiding social adaptation for these families. The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, however, presents new opportunities for delivering psychological support to rural children. This paper aims to examine the various psychological challenges encountered by these children, and to assess the effectiveness of AI-based psychological support programs through extensive literature review. The research methodology centers around a comprehensive literature study, revealing that the psychological issues of rural, multicultural children often arise from language and communication barriers, lack of identity and belonging, experiences of discrimination and bullying, educational challenges, and strained parent-child relationships. While both AI-based and traditional face-to-face psychological support programs have unique benefits, AI interventions may offer more effective solutions for rural, multicultural youth in terms of accessibility, cost, and interaction. Addressing these challenges necessitates an approach that combines an understanding of rural characteristics with technological expertise, underpinned by strong collaboration between government and local communities.
