초급 중국인 학습자의 ‘안’, ‘못’ 부정표현 습득 양상 연구

국문 초록

한국어 학습에서 부정표현은 가장 기본적이고 중요한 부분이다. 그러나 중국인 학습자가 한국어 부정표현을 배울 때 오류가 많이 생긴다. 이는 무엇보다 한국어가 교착어이고 중국어가 고립어이기 때문이다. 한국어 대표적인 부정표현은 ‘안’, ‘못’이고 중국어 대표적인 부정표현은 ‘不’, ‘没’이다. 그런데 양국의 부정표현은 서로 완전한 대응관계가 아니며, 유사점이 존재하지만 차이점도 많다. 그러므로 중국인 학습자가 한국어 부정표현을 사용할 때 모국어의 영향으로 여러 가지 오류가 생긴다. 본 연구는 초급 중국인 학습자를 대상으로 학습자가 부정표현 ‘안’, ‘못’을 사용할 때 나타나는 부정표현의 습득과 오류 양상을 연구하고자 한다. 먼저 학습자를 대상으로 문장 및 담화 차원의 과제를 부여한 후 그 결과물의 분석을 통해서 학습자의 오류 유형을 살펴보았다. 결과에 따르면 오류 유형은 ‘안’과 ‘못’ 대치 오류, ‘안’ 단형 부정 사용 오류, 과거 시제에 관한 오류 3가지가 있다. 이어 오류의 원인을 분석하였고 이를 바탕으로 해결 방안에 관해 몇 가지 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

Negation is one of the most fundamental and crucial aspects in Korean language learning. However, Chinese learners often make many errors when learning Korean negation. Due to Chinese and Korean are two totally different languages, Korean is an agglutinative language while Chinese is an isolating language, Chinese learners face difficulties in learning Korean negation. Representative negations in Korean include ‘안’ and ‘못’, while in Chinese, they are represented by ‘不’ and ‘没’. However, the negations in both languages do not correspond completely. Although there are similarities, there are also many differences. Therefore, Chinese learners often make errors in using Korean negations by the influence of their native language. This study aims to examine the acquisition and error patterns of negations when Chinese beginners use the negations ‘안’ and ‘못’. Firstly, learners were given tasks at the sentence and discourse levels. Through the analysis of the results, the types of errors made by the learners were examined. According to the results, there are three types of errors: substitution errors between ‘안’ and ‘못’, errors in the use of ‘안’ as a single negation form, and errors related to past tense. The causes of the errors were analyzed, and suggestions for resolving the errors were provided. I hope that this study will contribute to future education on Korean negations.
