초등교사 전문성 관련 국내 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 국내의 초등교사 전문성 연구 동향을 분석하여 관련 분야의 연구와 교사교육의 방향성을 제시하는 것이다. 2000년부터 2023년 7월까지 발행된한국학술지인용색인(KCI) 등재 논문 중 초등교사 전문성과 관련된 187편의 논문을분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 주제, 영역, 주체, 교과, 연구 방법의 다섯 가지 범주로이루어진 분석틀을 구성하여 분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주제범주에서는 전문성 실태 중 인식 및 현황 관련 연구가 가장 많았으며 전문성 평가에해당하는 연구가 가장 적었다. 영역 범주에서는 지식, 실행, 태도를 종합적으로 다룬연구가 가장 많았으며 태도를 다룬 연구의 빈도가 상대적으로 낮았다. 주체 범주의분석 결과, 예비초등교사에 비해 초등교사를 대상으로 한 연구의 빈도가 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구 방법 범주에서는 조사연구가 가장 많았으며 조사연구 중에서도특히 질적연구의 빈도가 높았다. 연구 결과를 토대로 초등교사 전문성 관련 연구 및교사교육에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends on the professionalism of Korean primary school teachers, and to suggest directions for further research and teacher education in the related research field. One hundred eighty seven papers related to the professionalism of primary school teachers, listed in the Korean Citation Index (KCI) from 2000 to July 2023, were selected. The framework was designed by five categories for analysis: topic, area, type of teachers, subject, and research method. The results were as follows. First, in the topic category, the frequency of research related to awareness and status of expertise was the highest, and the frequency of research related to expertise evaluation was the lowest. In the area category, the majority of studies adressed knowledge, practice and attitude comprehensively, with fewer focusing on attitude only. The studies targeting primary school teachers were more prevalent than those on pre-service primary school teachers in the category of type of teachers. Finally, in the research method category, survey studies, especially the qualitative research among them, were the most common. Based on the results, implications for further research on professionalism of primary school teachers, and for the teacher education were discussed.
