백제의 한성 회복 시도와 고구려의 대응

국문 초록

이 글은 475년 한성 함락 이후 551년까지 한강 유역의 영유국 문제에 대한 기존 연구의 동향을 정리한 것이다. 지금까지의 연구사 정리를 통해 한강 유역 영유국 문제에 대한 이해가 심화될 수 있었지만, 각각의 입장 차이는 여전히 명백하다. 이 글에서는 475~551년 한강 유역 영유국 문제의 연구사를 연구가 진행된 시간 순으로 정리하는 방식을 통해 문제를 명확하게 인식한 결과를 바탕으로, 입장의 차이를 좁히기 위한 새로운 관점의 모색 가능성을 제시해 보았다. 『삼국사기』 ｢백제본기｣ 긍정론의 경우 ‘백제 지속 영유설’, ‘백제 일시 상실설’, ‘529년 상실설’이, 부정론의 경우 ‘단순부정설’, ‘지명이동설’, ‘사료조작설’, ‘기년조작설’이 제시되었다. 논의가 진전되는 과정에서 문헌 기록과 고고자료를 절충한 해석의 가능성이 제기되었고, 이를 통해 긍정론과 부정론의 입장 모두 새로운 해석의 가능성을 제시했다. 그러나 문헌기록과 고고자료를 이해하는 인식의 차이는 여전히 크기 때문에 논의는 교착 상태에 빠져 있다. 향후 연구의 과제는 이러한 교착 상태를 해소할 수 있는 새로운 관점의 발견 앞에 놓여 있다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 문제의식에서 긍정론적 입장에서 ‘지명이동설’을 보완할 수 있는 관점을 제시했다. 6세기 초반 이후 백제의 한강 유역 점유를 동태적으로 이해하면서 523년 기사의 한성을 지명이 이동한 결과로 해석하고, 지명 이동의 이유는 ‘교치(僑置)’의 관점에서 이해하였다.

영문 초록

This article summarizes trends in existing research on territorial issues in the Han River basin from the fall of Hanseong in 475 to 551. While the research history summarized above has deepened our understanding of the territorial issues in the Han River Basin, the differences in their positions are still evident. In this article, I tried to recognize the problem clearly by organizing the research history of the Han River Basin territory issue from 475 to 551 in the chronological order in which the research was conducted. Based on the results, we suggest the possibility of exploring new perspectives to narrow the gap between the positions. 『Samguksagi』 ｢Baekjebongi｣ For the affirmative theory, the 'Baekje Continuous Perpetuation Theory', 'Baekje Temporary Loss Theory', and '529 Year Loss Theory' were presented, and for the negative theory, the 'Simple Negative Theory', 'Shift in the name of a region Theory', 'Manipulating history Theory', and 'Manipulating age Theory' were presented. As the discussion progressed, the possibility of a compromise interpretation of the written record and archaeological data was raised. This has opened up new interpretive possibilities for both the affirmative and negative positions. However, there is still a huge gap in our understanding of the written record and archaeological materials, and the discussion is at an impasse. The challenge for future research lies in the discovery of new perspectives that can break this impasse. In this paper, we propose a complementary perspective to 'Shift in the name of a region Theory' from a positive perspective. A dynamic understanding of Baekje's occupation of the Han River basin since the early 6th century. The reason for this is understood from the point of view of ‘Gyochi(僑置)’.
