‘노인일자리 사업’ 참여자의 자서전쓰기 프로그램에서 나타난 전환학습 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인일자리 사업에 참여하는 노인을 대상으로 한 자서전쓰기 프로그램에 나타난 노인학습자들의 삶의 맥락과 전환학습을 탐색한 질적 사례연구이다. 연구참여자는 2022년 9월∼11월까지 A시 B복지관에서 진행한 12회차 노인 자서전쓰기 프로그램에 참여한 9명이었다. 연구자는 자서전쓰기 프로그램의 강사로 참여관찰하면서 연구참여자들의 자필자서전, 개별 면담 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 연구참여자들의 삶에서의 관점전환과 자서전쓰기 프로그램을 진행하는 과정에서의 전환학습 사례를 확인할 수 있었다. 참여자들은 자발적이지 않은 상황에서 자서전쓰기 프로그램에 참여했지만, 다른 참여자들과의 활발한 소통을 통해서 자신의 생각과 삶을 성찰하고 열린 마음으로 다른 사람의 생애에도 귀 기울였다. 이 과정에서 인식의 변화가 일어나고, 지나온 인생 경험의 의미를 찾고 보다 개방적이고 수용적인 태도로 앞으로의 삶을 계획하는 태도를 보여주었다. 본 연구는 저학력 노인학습자를 대상으로 한 노인 자서전쓰기 프로그램의 의의와 평생교육차원에서의 노인 자서전쓰기의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study is a qualitative case study that explores the context of life and transition learning of elderly learners in the autobiography writing program. The study participants were nine people who participated in the 12-time elderly autobiography writing program held at B Welfare Center in A City from September to November 2022. The researcher collected and analyzed handwritten books and individual interview data of research participants while participating in the autobiography writing program. As a result of the study, it was possible to confirm the case of conversion learning in the process of changing perspectives in the life of the study participants and conducting an autobiography writing program. Participants participated in the autobiography writing program in a non-voluntary situation, but through active communication with other participants, they reflected on their thoughts and lives and listened to other people's lives with an open mind. In this process, changes in perception occurred, finding the meaning of life experiences that have passed and showing an attitude to plan for the future life with a more open and receptive attitude. This study aims to emphasize the significance of the elderly autobiography writing program for low-educated elderly learners and the importance of writing elderly autobiographies in terms of lifelong education.
