국문 초록

이 연구는 지체장애학교 교사의 민감성 특성과 교수학습 방법의 관계를 알아보기 위한 조사연구로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 지체장애학교 교사 236명을 대상으로 자료를 분석하였다. 민감성은 ‘신속한 반응’, ‘정확한 이해’, ‘수용과 표현의 수월성’, ‘상호작용’, 그리고 ‘교수학습 방법’의 5개의 영역으로 구성되었으며 설문지의 총 문항은 39개로 제시되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지체장애학교 교사의 최종학력과 교육경력이 높을수록 민감성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지체장애학교 교사의 교수학습 방법에 영향을 미치는 주요 배경변인은 교직경력과 최종학력으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지체장애학교 교사의 민감성 요인과 교수학습 방법은 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 연구결과에 기초한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지체장애학생의 교수학습에 긍정적인 영향을 견인하기 위해서는 반응을 충분히 기다리는 ‘기다림’ 과, 능동적인 참여를 유발할 수 있는 ‘학생중심’ 요인이 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 구어 중심의 의사소통 방식은 표현능력이 부족한 지체장애 학생의 교수학습 방법에 미치는 영향이 미비한 것으로 제시되었다. 따라서 지체장애학교 교사의 민감성은 지체장애학생과의 의사소통 및 교수학습 방법에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 주요 요인임을 이 연구에서는 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

This research study was conducted to investigate the relationship between the sensitivity of teachers in schools with physical disabilities and methods of teaching and learning. Data were analyzed for 236 teachers at schools with physical disabilities. Sensitivity consisted of five different domains: quick response, accurate understanding, excellence of acceptance and expression, interaction, and method of teaching and learning. A total of 39 questions were presented within the questionnaire. First, it was found that the higher the educational background and experience of teachers in schools with physical disabilities, the higher the sensitivity. Second, the main background variables affecting the teaching and learning methods of teachers in schools with physical disabilities were teaching experience and final educational background. Third, there was a high correlation between the sensitivity factors and teaching and learning methods of teachers in schools with physical disabilities. The results of this study suggest that the sensitivity of teachers in schools with disabilities is a major factor influencing teaching and learning methods.
