코로나19 시대 유연근무제 활용과 성과의 연령집단 간 비교분석

국문 초록

코로나19 팬데믹은 우리 사회의 다양한 영역에서 비대면문화를 확산하였으며, 일자리 분야에서는 유연근무제를 확대하였다. 유연근무제는 일과 삶의 균형을 높이며 삶의 질을 향상시키는 제도이나 국내에서 활용률이 낮고 경험적 연구가 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유연근로제 활용의 영향요인으로 연령집단에 주목하여 연령집단(청년층, 중장년 층, 고령층)에 따라 유연근무제 활용의 차이가 있는지 살펴본 후, 이러한 유연근로제 활용의 성과로서 연령집단별 일․생활 균형(일자리 만족도, 가족관계 만족도) 및 삶의 질(전반적인 생활 만족도, 행복도)을 비교 분석하였다. 한국노동패널 23차∼24차의 개인 및 부가조사 자 료를 이용하여 패널(순위형)로짓 모형 및 합동로짓 모형을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 중장 년층은 다른 연령집단보다 유연근무제를 활용할 가능성이 높고, 유연근무제 활용으로 일자리 만족도와 가족관계 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그에 반해 청년층과 고령층은 유연근무 제 활용으로 인한 일․생활 균형의 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 또한 유연근무제 활용은 전 연령 층에 걸쳐 삶의 질(전반적인 생활 만족도 및 행복도)에 긍정적인 효과를 발생시키는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The COVID-19 pandemic has spread non-face-to-face culture in various areas of our society, and expanded the flexible work system in the field of jobs. The flexible working system is a system that enhances work-life balance and improves quality of life, but the utilization rate is low and empirical research is lacking in Korea. Accordingly, this study paid attention to the age group and examined whether there were differences in the use of the flexible working system according to age groups (young people, middle-aged people, and elderly people) as an influencing factor on the use of the flexible work system. And, as a result of the utilization of the flexible working system, we compared and analyzed whether there were differences in work-life balance (job satisfaction, family relationship satisfaction) and quality of life (overall life satisfaction, happiness) by age group. The results of analyzing the panel (ranking type) logit model and the joint logit model using individual and additional survey data from the 23rd to 24th Korean Labor & Income Panel Study (KLIPS) are as follows. Middle-aged people are more likely to use the flexible work system than other age groups, and job satisfaction and family relationship satisfaction are higher with the use of the flexible work system. On the other hand, the youth and the elderly did not show any effect on work-life balance due to the use of the flexible working system. In addition, it was found that the use of the flexible working system had a positive effect on the quality of life (overall life satisfaction and happiness) across all age groups.
