국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 토론과 논증적 글쓰기를 통합하는 하나의 수업안을 제안하고 그 세부적인 교수-학습방법을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 논제 형성, 개요 작성, 토론, 논증적 글쓰기, 온라인토론, 기말고사 평가 등의 과정을 포함하는 토론-논증 글쓰기의 순환적 모델을 제안하였다. 이 교수-학습방법의 주요 특징 중 하나는 토론과 글쓰기라는 두 활동이 반복적으로 순환된다는 것이다. 두 활동이반복되는 가운데 논증적 사고 기술, 화법과 글쓰기 역량 등의 목표들은 균형 있게 성취될 수 있다. 다른 특징은 공식 토론, 비공식 토론, 온라인 토론 등의 다양한 토론 형태가 학습자의 활발한 참여도를위해 활용된다는 것이다. 이 외에도 본 연구는 학습자 참여도 제고를 위한 다양한 방안을 제안한다. 추후 연구로 학생들의 자기 보고적 결과를 통한 실제적인 모형 검증을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated education model of debate-argumentative writing and to specifically suggest the teaching and learning method in the model. For this, I proposed a circulative model of debating and argumentative writing including the processes of the topic formation, outline creation, debating, argumentative writing, feedback, online debating, and term paper evaluation. One of the main characteristics of this study is that the two activities circulate repetitively. In the repetition of the two activities, the target aims such as argumentative thinking skills, creativity, and speech and writing competences, can be achieved in an equally balanced manner. Another characteristic is that diverse patterns of debates such as formal debates, informal debates and online debates, are utilized for the learner’s active participation. Finally, since interactions can be strengthened between learners and a teacher, learners and learners, and learners and materials, feedback and information search can be strongly activated. For further study, intensified research is suggested regarding the analysis, as well as an effective teaching method involving the diversity of the communicative aspects in multi-layered debating message postings.
