한국 부부의 결혼만족도 관련 변인에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 1968년부터 2022년까지 실시된 결혼만족도 연구를 조사하여, 그중 한국 부부를대상으로 결혼만족도와 관련된 변인을 다룬 논문 67편에 대하여 메타분석을 통해 통합적으로살펴보고자 하였다. R 4.2.1을 활용하여 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 적응적 및 부적응적 변인의 효과크기를 산출하고, Meta-Anova를 통해 효과크기에 대한 이질성의 배경을 탐색하였으며, funnel plot과 trim-and-fill을 통해 출간오류의 편향을 확인하였다. 주요 연구결과는다음과 같다. 첫째, 결혼만족도에 대한 적응적 변인에서는 개인적 변인 중 자아존중감, 부부관계적 변인중 배우자평가, 환경적 변인 중 긍정적인 양육태도가 가장 큰 효과크기를 보였다. 둘째, 부적응적 변인에서는 개인적 변인 중 심리적 문제, 부부관계적 변인 중 부부갈등, 환경적 변인중 양육스트레스가 가장 큰 효과크기를 보였다. 셋째, 부적응적 변인은 배우자에 의한상대방효과보다 자기효과에서 더 큰 효과크기를 보였으며, 적응적 변인과 부적응적 변인 모두 부부관계적 변인일 때 가장 큰 효과크기를 보였다. 또한 적응적 변인과 부적응적 변인 모두 부부관계적 변인의 자기효과에서 가장 큰 효과크기를 보였다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 행복하고 만족스러운 결혼생활을 위한 다양한 변인들과 그 연관성을 조사하였으며, 부부 두 사람의관계에서 드러나는 상호작용 요소들이 중추적인 역할을 할 가능성을 확인하고, 특히 본인의결혼만족에 있어 부부관계 개선이나 관계적 어려움을 다루는 본인의 역량이 강조됨을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated a marriage satisfaction study conducted from 1968 to 2022, and among them, 67 papers dealing with variables related to marriage satisfaction in Korean couples were integrated through meta-analysis. Using R 4.2.1, the effect size of adaptive and maladaptive variables that affect marriage satisfaction was calculated. Meta-Anova was used to look into the background of heterogeneity in effect size, and the fuel plot and trim-and-fill were used to confirm the bias of publication errors. The main findings are as follows: First, self-esteem among individual variables, spouse evaluation among relational variables, and positive parenting attitudes among environmental variables showed the greatest effect sizes in adaptive variables for marriage satisfaction. Second, psychological problems among individual variables, marital conflict among relational variables, and parenting stress among environmental variables showed the greatest effect sizes. Third, maladaptive variables showed a greater effect size in actor effects than in partner effects, and both adaptive and maladaptive variables showed the greatest effect size when they were relational variables. In addition, both adaptive and maladaptive variables showed the greatest effect size in the actor effect of relational variables. In this way, this study investigated the relationship with various variables for a happy and satisfactory marriage and confirmed that the interaction factors revealed in the relationship between the two couples play a pivotal role, especially emphasizing one’s ability to improve marital relationships or deal with relational difficulties.
