국문 초록

본고에서는 한국어의 '내쉬다’, '들이마시다’와 중국어의 '呼’，'吸’, 두 쌍의 어휘의 은유표현이 한국어와 중국어 각 언어에서 어떤 차이가 있는지에 대해서 연구하고자 한다. '呼’가 만들어내는 은유적 표현은 ‘소리를 내다’， ‘전화를 받다’ ，‘안심하다’와 ‘어쩔 수 없다’ 네 가지다. 다음으로 '내쉬다'는 아래로 내려가는 방향의 유사성을 바탕으로 ‘안심하다’, ‘어쩔 수 없다’, ‘우울하다’라는 세 개의 감정 표현 영역에 사상(mapping)했다. '吸’가 만들어내는 은유적 표현은 ‘흡인하다’와 ‘치유하다’ 등의 두 가지 있다. ‘들이마시다’에서 생겨난 은유표현은 ‘먹다’, ‘생물, 자연현상’, ‘스스로 느끼는 것(自身感受)’, 그리고 ‘돈을 쓰다’ 등의 네 가지가 있으며, 모두 어떤 물질을 신체(공간) 내부로 끌어들이는 유사성에 기반한다. 두 쌍의 어휘는 모두 같은 근원 영역을 가지지만, 생성된 목표 영역이 다른 부분은 있다. 그 이유는 두 언어의 세계에 대한 인식이 초기 인지부터 차이가 나기 때문이다.

영문 초록

What are the differences between the metaphorical representations of Korean '내쉬다', '들이마시다' and Chinese '呼', '吸' between the two languages is the subject of this paper. '呼' was mapped to the four target domains of 'making a sound', 'picking up the phone', 'reassurance' and 'helplessness'. '내쉬다' was mapped to the three emotional expression domains of 'reassurance', 'helplessness' and 'sadness' based on the similarity in direction downwards. The metaphorical expressions of '吸' are 'attracting' and 'curing'. '들이마시다' produces four metaphorical expressions of 'eating', 'biology, natural phenomena', 'feelings of oneself' and 'spending money', which are all based on the similarity of introducing something into the body (into space). Two pairs words have the same source domain, mapping the target domain gives birth to different parts. Because the understanding of the world between the two languages ​​has already produced differences from the initial cognition.
