유관순열사의 정신계승에 관한 연구

국문 초록

유관순열사의 정신은 일본의 제국주의, 대륙침략 및 식민지전략에 따른우리민족 존립의 위기상황에서 불의에 항거한 항일, 독립, 평등, 자주 및애국정신으로 한국인의 가슴속에 불멸로 남아있다. 이 연구는 역사적, 교육적 및 종교적 배경에서 유관순 정신을 확인하고자하였다. 즉 유관순열사가 태어난 전후와 자라면서 배우고 경험한 것들로부터유관순정신이 생성되었을 것이라는 가정에서다. 첫째 가설로 유관순열사에게 영향을 끼쳤을 역사적 사건으로 청일전쟁과성환전투, 러일전쟁과 토지수탈, 군대해산과 의병토벌을 구실로 한 양민학살,직산금광 침탈, 일진회의 병천주민 수탈, 국가와 관청의 무능력과 의지할 곳없는 주민들 등의 사건들을 조사하였다. 둘째, 유관순열사가 출생이후 성장하는 과정에서 배우고 익히며 체득한 교육과신앙이 정신과 불가결하다는 가정이다. 유관순 가(家)나 지역민들이 일제의침탈에 따른 아픔과 절망감속에서 의지가 되었던 기독교, 기독교가정에서 읽고외웠던 성경구절, 이화학당 시절의 성경공부와 성경체험, 이문회의 강연과 활발한사상토론, 일본의 교육자율권박탈 등을 유관순열사의 정신형성에 영향을 준것으로 가정하였다. 이러한 상황 속에서 형성된 정신이기에 일본의 불의와 폭거에평화적으로 방광이 터져가면서도 굴복하지 않고 항거하는 불멸의 정신으로거듭 탄생했다고 본다. 한편 유관순열사의 정신계승이 열사의 희생에 대한 보답으로 큰 의미를 가진다.계승사업의 개선방안으로 정부, 도와 시차원의 계승사업으로 유관순상과유관순횃불상 수상부문 개선, 유관순열사기념사업회의 노후시설개선과기념품개선, 유관순학교의 고등학생동아리 활성화, 백석대학교 유관순연구소의 학회창설과 연구사업 활성화 등을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The spirit of Yu Kwan-sun remains immortal in the hearts of Koreans with anti-Japanese. Her spirit is anti-Japanese, independent, equal, and patriotic spirit, which has protested injustice in the crisis of the existence of our people in accordance with Japan's imperialism, continental invasion and colonial strategy. The study sought to identify the spirit of related spirit from historical, educational, and religious backgrounds. In other words, it is hypothesized that Yu Kwan-sun spirit may have been generated from what was learned and experienced before and after the birth of her. The first hypothesis was a historical event that would have affected the Yu kwan-sun, which led to ‘First Sino-Japanese War and the Seonghwan War’, ‘the Russo-Japanese War and land deprivation’, the people murder under deprivation of military power, the invasion of Jicksan’s mines, Iljin's diseased residents, the incompetence of the state and the government office, and the residents who could not rely on it. Second, the assumption is that the education and faith learned and learned in the process of growing up after birth are inseparable from the spirit. It was assumed that the Christianity, which was willed by the people of Yu kwan-sun and the local people in the sense of pain and despair caused by japanese invasion, the Bible section that they read and memorized in Christian families, the Bible study and Bible experience during the Ewha University, the lectures and active ideological discussions of the Yimun Conference, and the deprivation of Japanese educational interests influenced the mentality of the related spirit. Because of the spirit formed in this situation, it was born again and again in an immortal spirit that peacefully bursts into Japanese injustice and tyranny, but does not yield and protests. On the other hand, Yu kwan-sun’s mental succession has great significance in return for the sacrifice of heat. As a way to improve the succession project, the government and the government proposed improvement of the award-winning section of the Yu kwan Sun-prizes and Yu kwan Sun torch prizes, improved aging facilities and souvenir improvements at the Yu kwan Sun Memorial Society, revitalized the high school children’s schools at Yu kwan Sun School, and revitalized the creation and research project of the Society of Baekseok University Yu kwan Sun Research Institute.
