수학적 모델링 활동에서의 집단 창의성 발현 사례연구 : 수학적 표현과 모델 도출 활동을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중학교 3학년 학생들의 수학적 모델링 활동에서 발현되는 집단 창의성 사례를 분석하는 것이다. 특히, 수학적으로 다양하게 표현하기와 수학적 모델 도출 단계에 초점을 두고, 각 단계에서 발현되는 집단 창의성의 특징 및 발현된 집단 창의성이 각 단계에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 한다. 이를 위해 첫째, 선행연구 분석을 통해 위의 두 단계에서 집단 창의성 발현 가능성을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 수학적 모델링 활동 시 집단 창의성 발현을 위해 요구되는 조건들을 확인한 뒤, 이를 토대로 수업을 설계하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수학적으로 다양하게 표현하기 단계에서, 집단에 따라 서로 다른 유형의 상호작용이 관찰되었으며, 발현된 상호작용 유형에 따라 창의적 시너지에도 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 수학적 모델 도출을 위한 모델 수합 단계에서, 집단에 따라 메타인지적 상호작용이 관찰된 경우와 그렇지 않은 경우가 관찰되었으며 그에 따라 창의적 시너지에 차이가 있음이 확인되었다. 셋째, 수학적 모델 도출을 위한 모델 선택 단계에서, 모든 집단에서 메타인지적 상호작용과 그에 따른 창의적 시너지가 관찰되었다.

영문 초록

In this study, we analyzed the developed group creativity in mathematical modeling activities of 9th students. Especially, we focused on mathematically various representation and model derivation stages, and identified features of group creativity and its affects on each stages. The details are as follows. First, through the theoretical review, the possibility of group creativity in the above two stages were identified. Second, after identifying the factors influencing the development of group creativity, we designed the instruction. The results of this study are as follows. First, at the mathematically various representation stage, different types of interactions were observed depending on the group, and there were also differences in the creative synergy according to the type of interactions. Second, at the mathematical model accumulation stage, metacognitive interaction was observed in some groups and not in some groups, and it was confirmed that there were differences in creative synergies. Third, at the mathematical model selection stage, metacognitive interaction and its creative synergies were observed in all groups.
