일반고 고등학생 진로성숙도 영향요인에 대한 다층모형 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 서울교육종단연구 9차년도 자료를 활용하여, 서울 지역 일반고 고등학생의 진로성숙도에 영향을 미치는 학생 및 학교 수준 요인을 밝히고, 특히 교사의 인식 및 태도가 미치는 영향을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 분석 대상은 일반고 고등학생 2,057명과 소속 학교 236개이며, 2수준 다층모형을 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 학생 수준 변수 중 진로활동참여, 진로활동참여 만족도, 진학정보 인지정도가 진로성숙도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 도출되었다. 학교 수준 변수 중 진로지도 프로그램 운영과 관련한 변수는 모두 진로성숙도에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며, 교사가 사용하는 진로진학 정보원의 사용 개수만이 학생의 진로성숙도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 수준 간 상호작용의 영향을 분석한 결과, 학생의 진로활동 만족도와 교사의 진학상담 인식, 학생의 진학정보 인지정도와 교사의 학생부종합전형 인식 간의 상호작용이 진로성숙도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 도출되었다. 이상의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 형식적인 진로교육 프로그램이 아닌 학생의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 실질적인 효과를 가진 ‘수요자 중심’ 프로그램 개발이 필요하고, 적절한 정보를 활용한 체계적인 진로교육 지도법 개선이 요구되며, 진로진학에 대한 교사와 학생의 인지가 유기적으로 연계될 수 있는 방안을 마련해야 함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify student and school-level factors that affect the career maturity of general high school students in Seoul, and explore the effect of teachers' perceptions and attitudes, using data from SELS(9th year). For achieving the research purpose, multi-level analysis was applied. The findings indicate that among the student-level variables, participation in career activities, career activity satisfaction, and recognition of college admission information have a significant effect on career maturity. Among the school-level variables, all of the variables related to the operation of the career guidance program do not significantly affect career maturity, and it is confirmed that only the number of career information sources used by teachers has a negative effect on student career maturity. Also, it is found that the interaction between students' career activity satisfaction and teachers' perception of college admission guidance, students' recognition of college admission information, and teachers' recognition of CESSR has a significant effect on career maturity. Based on the results, this study suggests that it is necessary to develop a “consumer-centered” program with a practical effect to increase student satisfaction and use appropriate information to improve the systematic career education guidance method and develop an organic link between teachers and students' recognition of career guidance.
