공학계열 졸업생이 인식한 첫 일자리 만족도 유형과 대학기관 예측요인 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 공학계열 졸업생의 첫 일자리 만족도 양상을 토대로 잠재집단을 도출하고, 각 집단의 구분에 영향을 미치는 대학기관 차원의 특성을 탐색하는 것이다. 첫 일자리 만족도의 정의 및 선행연구를 통해 공학계열 졸업생을 대상으로 첫 일자리 만족도의 6개 잠재집단을 추출하였으며, 각 집단의 예측 변인으로 개인과 학교차원에 개입이 가능한 요인들의 관련성을 검증하였다. 연구 대상은 2018년 대졸자 직업이동 경로조사(2017GOMS)’의 자료의 공학계열 대학을 졸업한 1058명이며, 자료의 분석 방법으로 잠재계층분석, 교차분석과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공학계열 졸업생의 첫 일자리 만족도 양상에 따른 잠재집단을 분석한 결과, 총 6개 잠재집단이 추출되었다(‘복리후생소극형’, ‘불만족형’, ‘적성흥미일치소극형’, ‘인사제도적극형’, ‘만족형’, ‘최대만족형’). 둘째, 공학계열 졸업생의 첫 일자리 만족도 양상에 따른 잠재집단의 구분에 영향을 미치는 예측 변인을 분석한 결과, 대학기관 차원의 개입 및 변화가 불가능한 요인과 가능한 요인이 도출되었다. 주요 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 도출하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 각 대학은 지역사회와의 상생발전을 도모할 수 있는 특화된 공학 교육과정을 구축할 필요가 있다. 둘째 대학교육과 연계된 체계적인 공학 계열 진로 및 경력 개발 과정이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to derive groups based on the first job satisfaction pattern of science and engineering graduates, and to explore the characteristics of university institutions that influence the classification of each group. Six potential groups of first job satisfaction were extracted for science and engineering graduates through the definition of the first job satisfaction, and as predicted variables of each group, the level of agreement between jobs and college education that can be intervened at the individual and school level, and university education satisfaction factors was verified. The subjects of this study were 1058 students who graduated from the science and engineering college of the ‘2018 College Graduates’ Vocational Movement Path Survey (2017GOMS)’, and latent hierarchical analysis, crossover analysis, and logistic regression analysis were performed as data analysis methods. The summary of the research results is as follows. First, 6 potential groups were extracted; ‘welfare passive type’, ‘dissatisfied type’, ‘aptitude interest matching passive type’, ‘personnel system active type’, ‘satisfied type’, ‘maximum satisfied type’. Second, factors that are impossible and possible to intervene and change at the university level were derived. Based on the main research results, it was suggested that changes and innovations in science and engineering education are possible only when changes in the method and quality of instruction are preceded by professors. First, each university needs to establish a specialized engineering curriculum that can promote win-win development with the local community. Second, a systematic engineering career path and career development process linked to university education is required.
