국문 초록

이 글은 20세기 초부터 1945년 해방 전후에 이르는 시기에 성낙원이위치했다고 고려되는 의친왕 별업(別業)을 중심으로 독립운동가 화사이관구의 활약을 설명하는 것이 목적이다. 동시에 대표적인 근대 문화유산인 성낙원이 지니는 역사적 의미를 되새기는 계기를 마련하고자 하는 것이 부수적인 의도이다. 이 글을 통하여 성낙원이 일개 문화재라는차원이 아니라 조선시대부터 일제 강점기를 거쳐 해방 정국에 이르는장대한 시간 속의 흐름에서 시대적 문화상을 지니던 역사적 기념 공간으로 조명할 수 있을 것이다. 의친왕과 이관구가 교유하던 해방 조국의시대에 이르기까지 다양한 인물들의 궤적을 살필 수 있는 토대라고 할수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to explain the activities of independence activists at that time, focusing on the special business of King Uichin, who is considered to be the location of Seongnakwon from the early 20th century to before and after liberation in 1945. At the same time, it is an incidental intention to provide an opportunity to reflect on the historical meaning of Seongnakwon, a representative cultural heritage of Seongbuk-gu. Through this article, rather than exploring the origins and origins of Seong Paradise, or the narrative meaning of architecture or landscape, intend to discuss the facts and figures related to the independence move-ment of the space of Seong Paradise in the chronological commemoration year of the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Movement.
