국문 초록

도덕과 통일교육이 도덕과 교육의 한 영역으로서 자기 정체성을 지니기 위해서는 통일교육 일반이 아니라 도덕과 교육론의 관점에서 접근되어야 한다. 도덕과 통일교육의 궁극적 목표는 지정의(知情意)가 조화를 이룬 통일가치를 함양시키는데 있으며, 이를 위해서는 도덕과 통일교육의 교육과정 및 교과내용의 편성, 그리고 교수학습에 있어 도덕과 교육론의 주요 개념적 준거가 온전히 적용되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 도덕과 교육론의 중요한 개념 준거인 인지와 정의를 도덕과 통일교육에 적용시켜 고찰하였다. 구체적으로 첫째, 도덕과 통일교육에서 정치 이데올로기적 접근 및 사회문화적 접근에 내재된 인지 중심적 접근의 한계를 고찰하였다. 둘째, 도덕과 교육론의 중요한 개념 준거인 인지(cognition)와 정의(emotion)의 통합의 관점에서 도덕윤리교과 통일교육의 발전적 방안을 살펴보았다. 셋째, 인지와 정의의 개념적 분석틀에 의거해 교과서의 내용을 분석하였다. 또한 이러한 교과서를 배운 학생들의 통일에 관한 수행평가 자료를 근거로 통일교육의 효과적 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The unification education in moral education subject should be researched from moral education subject rather than a general unification education to posses self-identity as a certain realm of moral education subject. The ultimate target of the unification education in moral education subject lies on cultivating the value viewpoints of unification which intelligence, emotion, and volition are balanced with each others. For this, a conceptual framework of the moral education subject theory should be applied properly for planning curriculums and subject contents, and learning and instruction in the unification education in moral education subject. Therefore, the paper tried to apply for the unification education in moral education subject the incorporate framework of cognition and emotion which is a main concept framework of the moral education subject theory. In detail, firstly, I researched some limits of cognition centered process which are contained on social culture approach in the unification education in moral education subject. Secondly, I studied an improvement of the school unification education from the incorporate perspective of cognition and emotion which is a main concept framework of the moral education subject theory. Thirdly, I analyzed the moral education subject textbook in light of a concept framework of cognition and emotion , and proposed some effective improvements of the school unification education based on performance evaluation materials on the school unification education of students who learned this textbook.
