‘몸 행위’ 기반의 수용(reception)으로서 연극 활동을 통한 인물 이해 양상 연구

국문 초록

목적：본 연구는 작품의 수용이라는 문학 교육의 측면에서 연극 활동을 통해 학생들이 수행되는 ‘몸 행위’의 효용성을 모색하는 데에 목적이 있다. 방법：이를 위해 독서 활동군과 연극 활동군으로 감상 매개 활동을 달리하여 실시하여 감상 프로토콜 텍스트를 수집하였다. 동시출현단어 분석의 양적 분석과 질적 분석을 병행하여 실시하였다. 두 활동군 간 인물 이해의 공통 양상과 특정 양상을 변별해보았다. 결과：연극 활동군 학생의 인물 이해 양상에서 인물에 대한 재현적 이해, 감각적 이해, 균형적 이해가 드러남을 분석할 수 있었다. 결론：인물 이해 양상에 연극 활동을 통한 체화된 인지가 기여했음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 국어 교과에서 ‘체화된 인지’ 기반의 연극 활동이 학생들의 ‘총체적이고 통합적인 이해 능력’과 ‘작품에 대한 반응의 활성화 촉진’의 신장에 기여할 수 있고, 나아가 실제 세계 현상들에 대하여 균형적이고 창의적인 사고를 촉발할 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Purpose：The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of the ‘body action’ performed by students through theatrical activities in terms of literary education, the Reception of works. Methods：To this end, the response mediated activity was conducted differently between the reading group and the theater group, and the character response protocol text was collected from the students in that group. The analysis was conducted in combination with quantitative and qualitative analysis of co-occurence network in the text. Analyze at the common aspects of the two groups, and distinguished the specific aspects of the theater group from the reading group. Results：It was possible to analyze the reproducible, sensory, and balanced understanding of the character in the student’s understanding of the character in the theater group. Conclusion：It was possible to confirm that embodied cognition through theatrical activities contributed to the understanding of the character. This suggests that theater activities based on “embodied cognition” in the Korean language education can contribute to the growth of students’ “gross and integrated understanding” and “promoting the activation of responses to works” and, moreover, trigger balanced and creative thinking about real world phenomena.
