국문 초록

목적：이 연구는 한국어 교재 선정을 위한 평가 기준으로 어떤 원리와 어떤 요소를 고려해야 할지를 연역적·귀납적 방법의 혼합적 방법론을 통해 구체화하고자 한다. 방법：기존 주요 선행 연구를 바탕으로 교재 선정의 ‘원리’에 해당하는 키워들을 연역적으로 추출하고, 또 이 키워드를 중심으로 ‘체계적 문헌 연구 방법(systematic review)’을 통해 귀납적으로 이 원리에 부합하는 요소들을 배치, 배열하면서 최종적인 논의를 통해 이를 범주화하고 위계화한다. 결과：연구 결과 교재 선정을 위해 고려할 원리로 ‘적합성’, ‘체계성’, ‘유용성’의 3개 원리에 ‘최소성립기준’으로서 ‘합법성’을 추가하여 4대 선정 기준을 제안할 수 있었고, 이 원리들에 적용될 수 있는 항목 요소들로는 전통적인 교재 평가 요소인 ‘외형 요소’, ‘내용 요소’를 기본으로 하고, 여기에 현실적인 교재 선정 맥락을 고려하여 ‘배경 요소’와 ‘활용 요소’를 결합하여 4개 요소를 마련해 볼 수 있었다. 결론：이상과 같은 연구 과정을 통해 교재 선정 기준으로서 마련한 4원리-4요소는 단기 개발론 중심의 한국어 교재에 ‘선정으로서의 평가’라는 지점을 활성화해 줄 것이며, 나아가 기관에서나 개인의 교재 선정에 유익한 시사점을 주는 단초가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose：The purpose of this study was to specify, through the use of a mixed methodology of deductive and inductive methods, the principles and factors that should be considered as evaluation criteria for selecting Korean textbooks. Methods：Based on existing major prior studies, keywords corresponding to principles of textbook selection deductively extracted through a systematic review. Elements that conformed to these principles were categorized and hierarchized in a final discussion while arranging. Results：The results of the study showed that four selection criteria could be proposed by adding “legitimacy” as a minimal establishment criterion to the three principles of “conformity”, “systemness”, and “usefulness” as principles to be considered for selecting textbooks. Applicable factors were based on traditional text evaluation factors such as “external” and “content” factors and combined “background” factors and “utility elements” in consideration of a realistic textbook selection context. Conclusion：Based on the above research process, the set of four principles and four factors prepared as the selection criteria for textbooks will activate discussions on evaluation criteria for selecting in Korean textbook research focused on short-term development theory. Moreover, it has useful implications for the selection of textbooks by individuals and institutions.
