건강장애 학생 대상의 온라인 화상 수업에서 학습자의 신체적 상황이 언어 학습에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적：건강장애 학습자를 대상으로 이루어지는 국어와 온라인 화상 수업의 장에서 학습자의 신체적 상황이 언어 학습에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 데에 있다. 방법：2019년도 전국 15개 시·도 교육청 소속 건강장애 학생의 위탁 교육 기관에서 중학교 1학년 1개 반을 무작위로 선정한 뒤 해당 학급의 1학기 국어과 온라인 화상 수업(총 81회)을 분석하였다. 결과：국어수업의 장에서 건강장애 학생의 신체적 상황이 언어 학습에 영향을 미치는 방식은 학습 내용과의 관련성 여부에 따라 둘로 나누어진다. 그중 학습 내용과 유관한 경우는 학습자의 신체적 상황이 학습 전개에 도움이 되는 경우와 그렇지 않은 경우로 나뉜다. 이 중 전자의 경우는 학습자의 신체적 상황이 언어 학습에 영향을 주는 방식에 따라 다시 두 가지로 대별되었다. 결론：건강장애 학습자를 위한 언어 학습의 지원 방안을 교수 방법의 측면에서 제안하였다. 교사와 학생 간 언어 지식 이해 방식에서 어긋남의 조율, 학습자의 체화된 언어 지식과 고립된 언어 지식 간의 경계에 대한 교수자의 인식, 수업 대화에 입각한 건강장애 학습자의 정체성 형성 등이 그에 해당한다.

영문 초록

Purpose：This study examines how the physical situation of learners affects the process and results of language learning in Korean language arts online video lessons targeting learners with health disabilities. Methods：The research data come from an online education institution catering to students with health disabilities in the 15 metropolitan and provincial offices of education. One class in the first year of junior high school was randomly selected in the 2019 school year, and 81 Korean language arts lessons were analyzed. Results：In Korean language arts classes, the physical situation of students with health disabilities influences learning in a variety of ways, some helpful and some not helpful. In the former case, the learner’s physical situation was further divided into two types according to the ways it can influence learning. Conclusion：Teaching methods to support learning for students with health disabilities are identified. These methods include ways to develop mutual understanding between teachers and students with different life experiences, awareness of the relation between the boundary between learner’s embodied language knowledge and isolated language knowledge, and to cultivate identities for learners with health disabilities based on class conversation.
