초등 실과 교과서의 소프트웨어 단원에 대한 발문 유형 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학교 실과 교과서에 소개된 소프트웨어 단원의 발문 유형을 출판사 별로 분석을 수행하고, 이를 통해 향후 개정될 교육과정에 따른 실과 교과서 집필 방향을 모색하기 위해 수행하였다. 연구 수행을 위해 실과 교과서의 내용 체계 중 ‘프로그래밍 요소와 구조’에 해당하는 단원으로 범위를 제한하였으며, ‘SW 및 로봇 단원’ 발문을 분석한 선행 연구의 발문 분석 틀에 따라 발문 분석을 수행하였다. 이 연구에서 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘프로그래밍 요소와 구조’ 단원의 발문 분석 결과, 폐쇄적 발문의 비율(71.03%)이 개방적 발문 비율(28.97%)에 비해 약 2.45배로 확인되었다. 둘째, 출판사별 발문 유형의 특징을 살펴보면 6종 출판사 모두 폐쇄적 발문이 개방적 발문 비율보다 높다는 점에서는 같았지만, 내용을 구성하는 방식에 따라 재생적 발문을 사용하지 않는 출판사도 있었고, 확산적 발문을 찾아보기 어려운 경우도 있었다. 셋째, 단원의 구성 요소별 발문 유형 분석 결과 도입, 전개 부분에서는 재인적 발문이 가장 많은 것으로 드러났고, 정리 부분에서는 평가적 발문을 가장 많이 찾아볼 수 있었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합해 보면, 실과 교과서의 ‘프로그래밍 요소와 구조’ 단원 분석 결과 학생의 사고를 제한하는 폐쇄적 발문의 비율이 개방적 발문에 비해 상대적으로 높게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 향후 실과 교과서의 소프트웨어 단원 집필을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed practical elementary school textbooks to ascertain the types of questions asked on software (SW) programming units, with the aim of identifying a writing direction for an impending curriculum revision. In this context, the scope of analysis was limited to units corresponding to “programming structures and elements.” To classify relevant questions, we used a framework from a previous study that analyzed types of questions pertaining to “SW and robot unit.” The results were as follows. First, the ratio of closed questions (71.03%) was approximately 2.45 times higher than the ratio of open questions (28.97%). Second, the characteristics of the type of question by publisher were the same in that all six publishers had a higher closed questions than the open questions ratio, but there were publishers who did not use memory questions(A, D) and divergent thinking questions(C) depending on how they were composed. Third, our analysis of the types of questions found in each unit component showed that most recognitional questions were provided in the introduction and developing sections, while most evaluation questions were provided in the organizing section. To summarize, we found a higher ratio of closed questions (which restrict student thinking) than open questions These results are expected to be used as basic data for writing SW programming units for practical arts textbooks.
