사회 참여적 예술 창작과 수행인성의 관계 탐색을 위한 실행연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 학습자의 사회 참여적 예술창작 과정이 도덕교과에서 추구하는 인성과 사회과에서 추구하는 사회적 문제의 민감성과 참여적 태도를 기르기 위한 어떠한 관계를 갖는지 살펴봄과 동시에 궁극적으로 '느슨한 공동체' 의 의미를 구현하는데 필요한 수행인성을 기르고자함에 그 목적이 있다. 연구 방법으로는 학부생 11명을 연구 참여자로 구성하여 총 8회 각 3차시, 수행인성을 기르기 위한 총 24시간의 예술 창작 수업과 동시에 반성적 성찰의 반복적 실행으로 구성된 참여적 실행연구를 택하였다. 분석자료로 연구 참여자의 면담 자료, 영상 자료, 수업 결과물, 연구자의 관찰자료, 연구 일지, 사진 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 사회 참여적예술 창작 과정 속에서 학습자에게 다양한 수행인성이 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 구체적으로 살펴보면, 융합적인 사고를 가능하게 하는 개방적 태도, 문제해결력, 있는 그대로의 현상을 바라보는 수용적 태도, 타인의 작업 과정에 나타나는 사건들을 공감하는 태도, 소통과 감정이입, 친사회적 태도, 자기 성찰적 태도, 인내심과 배려, 성취감과 자아존중감, 소속감과 책임감을탐구할 수 있었다. 예술로 만들어 가는 '느슨한 공동체-되기' 교육 활동은 학습자에게 자기성찰적 사회 참여적 예술 활동의 기회를 통해 다양한 수행인성의 형성 기회를 제공하고, 예술이 지닌 사회 참여적 성격을 통해 근대적 예술의 가치에서 벗어나 보다 다양한 가치를 경험함으로써 세상을 바라보는 시각을 다층적으로 확장해 나갈 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study aims at examining the relationship between the learner's socially participatory art creation process and performance character and, at the same time, to cultivate the performance character necessary to ultimately realize the meaning of a ‘loose community’. As a research method, action research is consisting of 11 undergraduate students as research participants and 3 sessions of 8 sessions each, a total of 24 hours of art creation class to develop performance characters, with repeated execution of reflective contemplation. Data collection included interview, photo/video data, class results, observation data of the researcher, research journal. As a result, it was found that various performance characteristics appeared in the learner in the process of socially engaged art creation. Specifically, an open attitude that enables convergent thinking, problem-solving ability, an accepting attitude to see the phenomena as they are, an attitude to empathize with events in the work process of others, communication and empathy, a pro-social attitude, self reflective attitude, patience and consideration, sense of achievement and self-esteem, belonging and responsibility could be emerged. It is expected that we will be able to expand our perspective on the world in multiple layers by experiencing more diverse values such as “Becoming a loose community” that is made into art provides learners with opportunities to form diverse performative personality through opportunities for self-reflection and social participation in art activities, and through the socially participatory nature of art.
