2015 개정 과학과 교육과정의 화학 I 교과서에서 탐구 활동의 ‘기능’ 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2015 개정 과학과 교육과정의 화학I 교과서의 탐구 활동을 분석하여 교육과정 내용 체계표에 제시된 기능이 얼마나 잘 반영되어 있는지 조사하였다. 분석한 80 개 탐구 활동에서 가장 많이 나타난 기능은 의사소통, 결론 도출 및 평가, 자료의 수집·분석 및 해석, 모형의 개발과 사용, 탐구 설계와 수행, 문제인식, 수학적 사고와 컴퓨터 활용, 증거에 기초한 토론과 논증 순서이었고, 증거에 기초한 토론과 논증은 전혀나타나지 않았다. 각 기능의 하위 요소가 골고루 나타나지 않았으며, 각 탐구 활동에는의사소통과 결론 도출 및 평가 등의 평균 2개 정도의 기능만 포함하고 있었다. 2015 개정 과학과 교육과정에서 추구하는 목표와 교과 역량 달성을 위해 다양한 기능과 기능의 하위 요소가 포함되도록 과학 교과서 탐구 활동을 구성할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the inquiry activity of the Chemistry I textbook of the 2015 revised science curriculum to investigate how well the functions presented in the curriculum content system table were reflected. The order of the most common functions in the 80 inquiry activities analyzed was communication, conclusion drawing and evaluation, data collection⋅analysis and interpretation, model development and use, inquiry design and execution, problem recognition, mathematical thinking and computer use, and evidence-based discussion and argumentation. And no evidence-based discussion and argument appeared at all. The sub-elements of each function did not appear evenly, and each inquiry activity included only about two functions on average, such as communication, conclusion drawing and evaluation. In order to achieve the goals and subject competency pursued in the 2015 revised science curriculum, it is necessary to organize science textbook inquiry activities to include various functions and sub-elements of functions.
