한국과 대만의 영어과 교육과정 내용체계 비교

국문 초록

[연구 목적] 본 연구에서는 교과 역량을 보다 잘 반영하기 위한 영어과 내용 체계 개선 방안을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로, 2015 개정 영어과 교육과정의 내용 체계를 분석하고, 대만 영어과 교육과정과의 비교 연구를 실시하였다. [연구 방법] 우리나라와 대만의 총론 핵심 역량과 각론 교과 역량, 내용 체계를 비교‧분석하였고, 시사점을 도출하여 영어과 교육과정 내용 체계 개선 방안을 제안하였다. [연구 결과] 연구의 결과, 대만의 교육과정에서는 ‘역량’ 항목을 별도로 할애하여 핵심 역량을 구체화, 하위 역량들이 교과별로 어떤 의미를 갖는지 설명하고 있었고, 내용 체계는 언어 지식, 의사소통 기능, 문화와 관습, 사고력의 4가지의 주제로 구성되었으며, 의사소통 기능은 통합적으로 제시되고 있었다. [결론] 연구를 통해 내용 체계의 개선 방안으로 교과 역량을 반영한 내용 체계의 영역 확장, 교과 역량의 단계적 구체화, 교과 역량과 연계한 내용 체계의 ‘기능’ 개발, 문화 관련 내용을 추가할 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

[Purpose] In this study, the content system of the 2015 revised English curriculum was analyzed, and a comparative study was conducted with the Taiwanese English curriculum, with the aim of exploring ways to improve the English department's content system to better reflect the subject's competency. [Methods] Comparison and analysis of core competency, subject competency, and content system of Korea and Taiwan were made, and suggestions were made to improve the content system of the English department by deriving implications. [Results] As a result of the study, in Taiwan's curriculum, 'competence' was separately allocated to specify core competencies and to explain the meaning of sub-competences for each subject. Content system was composed of four themes, and the communication function was presented in an integrated way. [Conclusion] As a way to improve the content system through research, it was proposed to expand the scope of the content system that reflects the subject competency, to materialize the subject competency step by step, to develop the ‘function’ of the content system in connection with the subject competency, and to add content related to culture.
