통일교육과 한반도 통일의 상관성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 통일교육과 한반도통일의 상관성에 관한 것이다. 지금까지통일교육은 통일정책의 하위단위로 교육적 기능과 효과의 차원에서만생각되어 왔다. 그러나 통일교육이 지니고 있는 성격과 의미를 제대로파악할 경우 통일교육은 한반도통일에 결정적인 역할을 수행할 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 통일교육과 한반도통일의 성격과의미를 정치철학적 차원에서 면밀히 살펴보고 이를 기초로 하여 통일교육과 한반도통일 간의 상관성에 대해 논의를 전개하였다. 우선, 통일교육은 그 교육과정에서 국가 구성원에게 통일의 당위성, 통일방략을 설명 전달하여 국민적 기반구축의 계기를 조성함으로써 한반도통일에 결정적인 기여를 할 수 있다고 생각된다. 둘째, 통일교육은 또 구성원에게 통일교육의 목표에 대한 확고한 실천화를 통해 통일의지를 심어줌으로써 통일을 위한 저변확대를 조성한다는 점에서 한반도통일과 밀접한상관성을 지니고 있는 것으로 생각한다. 마지막으로 통일교육은 국가구성원에게 북한의 실상을 제대로 전달하고 올바른 북한관과 튼튼한 안보관의 정립을 제공함으로써 내부의 단합된 질서를 형성할 수 있다고하겠다. 이러한 점들은 결국 한반도통일과 관련성이 있다는 점에서 통일교육과 한반도통일 간에는 밀접한 상관성을 지니고 있는 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This study is on the interrelationship of unification education and unification of the Korean Peninsula. Until now, unification education is realized with the educational function and effect as the sub-unit unification policy. But we can know the unification education has a decisive effect on the unification of the Korean Peninsula in the respect understanding the character and meaning of unification education. Therefore, this study has examined closely the character and meaning of unification education and unification of the Korean Peninsula with the view of political philosophy. On this basis, I analyses the interrelationship of unification education and unification of the Korean Peninsula. Above all, I think the unification education has contributed much to unification of the Korean Peninsula by providing the appropriateness of unification, strategy of unification to national members. Second, I think the unification education has interrelationship of unification education and unification of the Korean Peninsula in respect of building up enlargement of base for unification by providing unification will to national members. Finally, the unification education cause new joined order formation by providing the North Korea’s realization and the strong sense of national security to national members.
