국문 초록

본 연구는 통일교육이 지니고 있는 정치교육적 함의와 지향성에 관한 것이다. 통일교육과 정치교육은 밀접한 상관성을 지니고 있다. 첫째, 현재 남북한관계는 체제와 이념의 이질성과 적대성이 매우 심화된상태이다. 이런 상황에서 우리의 통일교육은 우리 체제와 이념의 수호를 위해 매진하는 정치교육적 역할을 다해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 통일교육은 단순히 정부의 정책을 홍보하고 전달하는 소극적 차원에서 벗어나한반도 통일이라는 보다 큰 틀에서 자신의 역할을 정해야 한다. 마지막으로 통일교육은 북한체제의 변화에 모든 역량을 다 바쳐야 한다. 이상과 같은 통일교육의 역할은 바로 정치교육적 역할과 큰 차이가 없다는점에서 통일교육과 정치교육은 밀접한 상관성을 지니고 있다고 하겠다. 이를 기초해서 통일교육이 지니고 있는 정치철학적 함의를 지적하면 첫째, 통일교육은 분명한 정치이념의 지향성을 지녀야 한다는 점이고 둘째, 통일교육은 세계와 국가 간의 이념의 부합성을 위해 매진해야 한다는 점이고 마지막으로 통일교육은 민족의 이익과 발전과 연계하는 방향성을 도모해야 한다. 이렇게 볼 때 통일교육은 분명한 정치교육적 함의를 지니고 있는 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This thesis is aimed to analyse the political educational implication of unification education. Unification education and political education has a close correlation. Present, the relation between the South Korea and the North Korea is the deepen state of the difference, hostility in the system and ideology. In this condition, our unification education should play political educational role to keep our system and ideology. Second, unification education needs to escape from passive role promoting simply governmental policy. And furthermore, it plays its own role in the whole framework that is to say, the unification in Korean Peninsular. Finally, unification education is dedicated to the change of North Korea’s regime. The above unification educational role is no significant differences with the role of political education. Based upon this, the political educational implication of unification education is as follows ; First, unification education should have the clear direction into political ideology. Second, unification education has to strive for the ideological compatibility of world and state. Finally, unification education seeks for the direction linking with the national development and interest. Seeing this, I think that unification education is linked closely with political educational implication.
