독도식물의 기원- 독도, 울릉도 및 일본 오키섬 식물상 비교를 통하여

국문 초록

본 논문은 독도와 울릉도 그리고 일본 오키섬과의 관속식물상을 비교·분석하였다. 대양섬인 독도의 독특한 생물학적 진화양상과 종분화 과정을 연구하기 위한 기초 자료를 축적하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 독도의 관속식물상은 29과 49속 54종 1아종 2변종 57분류군으로 확인되며, 한국의 독도와 울릉도와 그리고 일본 오키섬에서 공통으로 자생하는 식물이 9분류군(15.8%), 독도에서만 자생하는 식물 9분류군(15.8%), 독도와 울릉도에서 자생하는 식물 37분류군(64.9%), 독도와 일본 오키섬에서 공통적으로 자생하는 식물 2분류군(3.5%)으로 조사되었다. 뿐만 아니라 국가 보호종인 고유종, 식물구계학적 등급식물, 귀화식물 등을 상호 비교·연구하였다. 독도와 울릉도에서 자생하는 식물 고유종은 3분류군, 식물구계학적 등급식물은 15분류군, 귀화식물은 8분류군이 확인되었으며, 독도와 일본 오키섬에서 공통으로 자생하는 식물구계학적 등급식물은 5분류군이 확인되었다. 따라서, 현재까지 보고된 연구 결과, 독도의 식물상은 울릉도와 비슷한 경향을 보여주고 있지만, 좀 더 확대된 지역(한국, 일본)의 식물상을 비교 검토할 필요가 있다. 이러한 결과는 독도식물의 기원을 밝히는 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This paper compared and analyzed the vascular plant flora of Dokdo, Ulleungdo, and Oki Island of Japan in order to understand the plant origins of Dokdo. The purpose of this study was to accumulate basic data to study the unique biological evolution and speciation process of Dokdo, an oceanic island. The vascular plant flora of Dokdo is identified as 29 families, 49 genera, 54 species, 1 subspecies, 2 variants, 57 taxa, and 9 taxa (15.8%) of plants native to Dokdo and Ulleungdo in Korea and Oki Island in Japan, and 9 plants native to Dokdo. Taxa (15.8%), 37 taxa of plants native to Dokdo and Ulleungdo (64.9%), and 2 taxa (3.5%) of plants native to Dokdo and Oki Island in Japan were investigated. In addition, endemic species, floristic regional indicator plants, and naturalized plants, which are nationally protected species, were compared and studied. Three taxa were identified for plant endemic species native to Dokdo and Ulleungdo, 15 taxa for Floristic regional indicator plants, and 8 taxa for naturalized plants. Therefore, as a result of the studies reported so far, the flora of Dokdo shows a similar trend to that of Ulleungdo, but it is necessary to compare and review the flora of more expanded areas (Korea and Japan). These results are intended to be used as basic data to reveal the origin of Dokdo plants.
