한의철학의 의의와 연구과제

국문 초록

응용철학의 등장은 해당분야의 주류이론체계에 심각한 문제가 발생했음을 알려준다. 의철학은 의학의 패러다임 전회(轉回)라고 할 수 있는 주류이론의 위기상황에서 발생했다. 때문에 의철학은 자기극복이라는 방향성을 지닌다. 이에 반해 서양의학의 등장에 의해 나타난 한의철학은 자신의 타자성을 증명해야 한다는 자기 방어적 특성을 지닌다. 타자(서양의학)에 대한 타자성 즉, 정체성을 증명해야 하는 한의철학은 동서비교철학적 관점위에 서지 않을 수 없다. 그런데 정체성은 관점의존적인 데다가 다양한 한의학이 공존하기 때문에, 한의학의 정체성을 파악하기 위해서는 먼저 관점을 정해야 한다. 본고에서는 한의학의 다양성과 동일성을 잡아내기 위해 ‘축적(다양성)적 전통(동일성)’이라는 개념을 사용했다. 철학자는 다양한 현상 자체가 아니라, 배후에 있는 시대적 이념을 겨냥한다. 그러므로 축적은 특수한 한의학의 현상이 아니라 그 배후의 다양한 이념을, 전통은 모든 한의학을 한의학이라고 부를 수 있게 하는 한의학적 사유방식을 가리킨다. 「황제내경」의 황로학, 「신농본초경」의 신선술,「상한론」의 경험합리성, 수당대약학의 도교적 이념, 송대이후 유의(儒醫)의 이념, 근현대 한의학의 근대성 등은 한의철학자의 연구과제다. 이런 시대적 이념은 동일한 사유방식의 시대적 발현이거나 변모라고 평할 수도 있을 것이다. 본고에서는 시대적 이념과 더불어 한의학의 사유방식인, 세계관과 유별의 원칙 그리고 인식의 방법을 연구과제로 제안했다. 다양성과 동일성의 구도에서 바라본 한의학은, 마치 몇 개의 마디로 이루어진 대나무와 같은데, 한의학을 온전하게 이해하기 위해서는, 대나무 전체와 마디 그리고 마디를 잇는 연속성을 동시에 보아야 하기 때문이다.

영문 초록

The existence of an applied philosophy means there is a big crisis in that field that can’t be solved by a makeshift. Medicine philosophy appeared in the crisis of modern medicine, that is, scientific medicine. Medicine philosophy is subject to self-conquest of modern medicine. But east medicine philosophy that appeared for the crisis caused by entrance of modern medicine is subject to prove the otherness of east asian medicine against west medicine. So it has the tendency of self-protection. East Asian Medicine Philosophy that should prove the otherness of itself against otherness of modern medicine has the fateful character of comparison between east and west. East Asian Medicine Philosophy should answer the question about world view, the principle of classification and cognition way. East Asian Medicine Philosophy must consider the real problem made in the society. East asian medicine that began from superstition medicine produced Huang Di Nei Jing(黃帝內經) on the basis of Huang Lao Xue(黃老 學), Ben Gao Jing(本草經) on the basis of the ideology of Shen Xian Fang Shu(神仙方術), Shang Han Lun(傷寒論) on the basis of empirical rationality. From the period of Huang Di Nei Jing(黃帝內經) to Shang Han Lun(傷寒論), East Asian Medicine has been established. From wei jin(魏晉), East Asian medicine has stood on the basis of religious taoism(道敎). But confucianism entered into East Asian Medicine in Song Period(宋代). East Asian Medicine is like bamboo consisting of some bamboo joints. Different East Asian Medicines of other times constitute a whole East Asian Medicine. To completely understand East Asian Medicine, We must see a whole bamboo and joints together. By keeping this view, East Asian Medicine Philosophy can catch the nature of East Asian Medicine and participate in the problem made modern times, say, cooperative diagnosis and the use of diagnosis apparatus, etc..
