국문 초록

본고에서는 우선 독립운동가들이 연구 및 저술한 역사학의 성격을 분석하였다. 독립운동가들이 역사를 연구 및 저술한 목적은 전적으로 독립운동을 위한것이다. 그러므로 필자는 독립운동가들의 역사학을 특별히 ‘독립운동사학’으로명명하였다. 본고의 두 번째 부분에서는 독립운동가의 역사 적폐 청산 노력에 대해 검토하였다. 독립운동가들은 사대사관과 식민사관이라는 두 가지의 역사 적폐를 동시에 청산하고, 우리의 역사를 정립(正立)하기 위해 노력했다. 그러나 독립운동가들의 역사 적폐 청산 시도는 철저하게 좌절되었다. 본고에서는 그 좌절의 원인도 살펴보았다. 본고의 세 번째 부분은 독립운동가 고대사 인식의 계승에 관한 논의이다. 분명히 말할 수 있는 것은, 독립운동가의 역사 인식 중에 우리가 반드시 계승해야할부분이 있다는 것이다. 본고에서는 그 계승할 부분 중 가장 중요한 것으로서 역사 적폐 청산에 대해 언급하였다. 또한 2017년에 들어선 문재인 정부에서 한국사학계의 적폐 청산은 어떻게 시도되어야 할지, 그 적폐 청산의 과제와 방법을간략하게 검토해보았다.

영문 초록

In this paper, first, I analyzed the character of History that independent activists have studied and written. The purpose of the independence activists’ research and writing of History is entirely for the independence movement. Therefore, I named the History of independence activists as ‘Independent movement History(History for the independence movement)’ in particular. In the second part of this paper, I reviewed the efforts of the independence activist to liquidate the cumulative evils in History. Independent activists tried to liquidate both the historical view subordinated to Chineseism and the historical view subordinated to colonialism as the cumulative evils in History, at the same time tried to establish our right history. But the independence activists’ attempt to liquidate the cumulative evils in History was thoroughly frustrated. In this paper, I also looked at the cause of the frustration. The third part of this paper is the discussion about the succession of the recognition of the ancient history of the independence activists. What we can say for sure is that there is a part of the history awareness of the independence activist that we must inherit. In this paper, it is the most important part of the succession to be mentioned, and it refers to the liquidation of the cumulative evils in History. Finally, in Moon Jae-in Government Established in 2017, briefly explained how to try to liquidate the cumulative evils of Korean historical academia, reviewed the tasks and methods of liquidating the cumulative evils briefly.
