장르적 특성에 따른 문학 텍스트 재매개 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 매체 이동을 통해 다양한 변형 이야기를 만들어내는 문학 텍스트를활용한 콘텐츠 개발에 도움을 주려는 목적에서 쓰였다. 현대인들은 스마트폰 하나로 언제 어디서든 다양한 문화를 즐긴다. 이는 디지털 기술로 인한 미디어의발달이 개별적으로 존재하던 다양한 매체들을 유기적으로 통합시킨 결과이다. 멀티 미디어적인 특성을 보이는 디지털매체가 대중매체로 자리 잡은 현시점에서다양한 콘텐츠 개발이 시급한 것은 사회적 담론을 형성하는 중요한 장이 되었기때문이다. 이로써 매체를 대하는 현대인들의 인식과 그에 따른 비판의식을 고취해줄 문학 텍스트의 필요성이 강조된다고 할 수 있다. 문학 텍스트를 통한 매체 연구에서 고찰의 대상은 영화 <만추>, 뮤지컬 <김종욱 찾기>, 소설『두근두근 내 인생』이다. 이들 텍스트는 매체적 특성에 맞는 새로운 표현방식을 획득하면서 지속해서 재생산된 바 있다. 영화 <만추>는 리메이크감독들이 특정한 시대를 표상할 수 있는 인물을 통해 자신만의 영상미학을 선보이면서 지속해서 재생산되고 있고, 뮤지컬 <김종욱 찾기>는 장르마다 서로 대체되거나 환원할 수 없는 고유한 특징을 극복하지 못해 재매개를 이룬 영화가 뮤지컬의 명성에 미치지 못한 결과를 낳았다. 소설『두근두근 내 인생』을 시각화한 영화는 원작의 핵심 이야기를 그대로 들려주면서도 전혀 다른 분위기와 담론으로소통했는데, 이는 영화만의 표현방식에 따라 플롯을 단순화시켜 시각화에 성공했다. 이들 텍스트는 매체 전환에 따른 장르적 표현방식의 유형을 잘 드러내 주고 있기에 문학성과 대중성을 담보할 수 있는 익숙하면서도 새로운 이야기를 다른 매체와 결합해 새로운 콘텐츠를 만들어내는 OSMU(One Source Multi Use) 시대를 대표하는 문학 텍스트라 할 수 있다. 문학 텍스트를 통한 재매개 고찰은, OSMU 시대를 대표하는 문화상품들이 모두 영상으로 제작된다는 점에서 문학 텍스트의 원천소스를 잘 활용하면 여러 부문에서 벤치마킹할 수 있다. 실질적으로 미디어 산업은 콘텐츠의 질적 평가가어려운 불확실성의 요소로 흥행에 성공할지에 대한 위험성이 크다. 다양한 콘텐츠 연구가 절실히 요구되는 시점에서 이루어진 본 연구는 다양한 매체를 이동해지속적인 생명력으로 수많은 변형 이야기를 만들어내는 문학 텍스트를 통한 콘텐츠 활성화에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was written with the aim of helping develop content using literary texts that produce various variations through media movement. Modern people enjoy a variety of cultures anytime, anywhere with a smart phone. This is the result of the organic integration of various media that existed individually by the development of media due to digital technology. The urgent need to develop various contents at this time when digital media with multi-media characteristics has become a mass media is because it has become an important place to form social discourses. This emphasizes the need for literary texts to inspire modern people’s perception of the media and their sense of criticism. The subjects of consideration in media research through literary texts are the movie , the musical , and the novel . These texts have been continuously reproduced, acquiring new ways of expression for media characteristics. The movie is continuously reproduced by remake directors showing their own visual aesthetics through characters who can represent a specific era, and the musical is a unique feature that cannot be replaced or reduced for each genre. The movie, which visualizes the novel tells the core story of the original work as it is, but communicates with a completely different atmosphere and discourse, which succeeded in visualizing it by simplifying the plot according to the film’s own way of expression. These texts are representative of the One Source Multi Use(OSMU) era, which combines familiar and new stories with other media to create new content, as they clearly reveal the types of genre expressions caused by media conversion. A review of remediation through literary texts can be benchmarked in various fields if the source of literary texts is well utilized in that all cultural products representing the OSMU era are produced as images. In reality, the media industry has a high risk of success in box office due to uncertainty that makes it difficult to evaluate the quality of content. This study, which was made at the time when various contents research is desperately required, will be able to help in activating contents through literary texts that create numerous transformed stories with continuous vitality by moving various media.
