국문 초록

본 연구는 17-18세기 로코코시대의 시대적 배경과 양식을 이해하고 현대 도자 작품에서 나타나는 문 양과 장식성을 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 17-18세기 권력이나 지위를 과시하던 남성중심의 엄중하고 장 중한 장식요소가 아닌 살롱문화가 등장한 로코코시대에는 화려하고, 낭만적이며, 안락한 분위기를 추구 하여 여성성이 부각된 예술이 발달하였다. 본 연구에서는 현대 도자 작품 중 로코코시대 문양을 재해석 하여 표현된 작품을 연구하였다. 사례 작가로는 한정은, 카츠요 아오키, 제프 쿤스, 토비 지글러의 작품 으로 로코코를 모티브로 재해석한 작품들을 조사하여 분석하였다. 이를 배경으로 본 연구는 로코코시대 문양이 현대 도자 작품에서 다양하게 재해석되어 작품에 활용됨을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 로코 코시대 다양한 문양을 통해서 현대 도예의 장식성과 조화성을 넓히는 가능성이 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the background and style of the 17th-18th century Rococo period and to examine the patterns and decorative features that appear in modern ceramic works. From 1715 to 1770-80 in the era of Rococo, where salon culture emerged, rather than male-centered decorative elements that boasted power or status, the art that emphasized femininity was developed by pursuing a colorful, romantic, and comfortable atmosphere. In this study, we studied the works of modern ceramics expressed by reinterpreting the patterns of the Rococo period. Case authors examined and analyzed works reinterpreted by Rococo motifs by works by Han Jung-eun, Katsuyo Aoki, Jeff Koons and Toby Ziegler. The study based on this background showed that the Rococo period patterns were reinterpreted in various ways in modern ceramic works and used in their works. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it is possible to expand the decorative and harmonious nature of modern pottery through various patterns of the Rococo era.
