국문 초록

본 연구는 도판을 기초하여 기하학적 구조를 응용 조사하였으며, 도판 제작에 재료적 접근을통해 구조 표현의 시각적 다양성을 연구하였다. 이는 제작 방식과 기하학 구조의 표현 확장가능성 및 응용 가치를 추구하였다. 기하학적 구조는 시각적으로 군집된 형태를 띠고 있지만 도판의 제작과 결합으로 시간적, 공간적 이동을 상징하며 변화를 통한 즉흥성을 지니고 있다. 변화는 형, 비례, 색, 두께 등으로나타날 수 있으며, 이는 기하학의 시각적 변화에 조화와 균형 혹은 상충과 대비적 요소를 통해 다양한 형상 추출이 가능하다. 이러한 기하학의 다양한 시각 언어를 통해 미학적 예술표현의 기초가 되고 있다. 또한 도판의 반복적인 결합을 통해 만들어지는 새로운 형태의 조형적특성은 조형제작 과정을 명확하게 지니고 있다. 이때 기하학적 구조 표현에서 도판 제작에 형태적 변화뿐만 아니라 재료적 변화를 통해 다변적 접근을 모색하였다. 도판의 제작 방식과 결합 방식의 변화를 통한 과정은 기하학적 형태 구현에도 시각적 변화를 가할 수 있다. 이는 일반적으로 제작되는 도판으로 결합되어 만들어지는 과정에 흡수성 재료의 접근으로 결과물 표현에 영향을 주었다. 따라서 도판의 근본적인 제작 방식의 변화와 이를 통한 기하학적 구조표현의 확장은 다채로운 응용으로 차별화된 이미지를 도출할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the visual aesthetics of purity and wholeness in geometric structures based on using ceramic plates and investigates a distinctive approach to materials in order to represent a variety of expressions. This develops the possibilities of applying special techniques and creating diverse forms of expression. The accumulated forms in geometric structures represent the movements of space and time due to the act of stacking each ceramic plates. And the method of accumulating carries/involves the spontaneity of defining shapes. Different forms of structure can be elaborated by changing the elements of art with harmony and contrast: proportion, form, color, thickness, etc. These fundamental features on the visual language are essential to aesthetic expressions. The technique of repetitive accumulations shows the original characteristic in the process of making different forms and shapes. Not only changing shapes but also choosing other materials to make the ceramic plates is an effective way to bring differences. Making the ceramic plates with absorbent materials creates unique textures. This paper has investigated that modifying the technique of producing the ceramic plates and expanding the possibilities of the aesthetic expressions in geometric structures provide exceptional images in art.
