국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국의 대학 도자교육에서 대학생 인지발달 단계를 측정하기 위한 모델을 제시하는 것이다. 도자교육을 실행하는 과정에서 인지는 언어로 표현하기 힘든 내용들이고, 이러한 이유로 지식의 확장이나 도자교육의 질적 향상을 입증하기가 어려운 것이 사실이다. 그러나 21세기의 지식기반사회의 도래로 인하여 문자화되지 않은 영역들이 더욱 창의적이라는 사실이 드러남에 따라, 문자적인 입장에서의 인지가 아닌 비문자적인 영역의 인지에 대한 관심들이 늘어나고 있다. 도자교육에서 가장 중요한 경험과 인지의 축적은 타 전공과는 차별화된 도자교육만의 장점이며, 도자교육이 지향하는 개인적인 목표는 기술 혹은 기능만을 숙달하는 것이 아닌, 자아 성취의 개념에서 일원론적인 상태에 도달하는 것임은 부인할 수 없다. 이렇듯이 도자교육은 본질적으로 인지발달과 밀접하게 연결된 상호보완적인 관점에서 이해되어야 한다. 그러므로 대학생 인지발달을 기초로 한 교육내용을 마련하는 것은 도자교육의 당위성과 지식확장을 위하여 무엇보다도 중요한 일이다. 본 논문의 공동연구자들은 전공과의 관련성을 중심으로 실질적인 내용들을 포함하는 인지발달의 단계들을 연구하여 체계화시키고자 노력하였다. 이 연구가 미래의 도자교육의 가치와 지식의 확장을 위한 근거로 사용되기를 바란다.

영문 초록

The goal of this research is to suggest to measurement models of cognitive development of university students in ceramic education at Korean universities. In the realm of ceramic education, cognition is hard to represent langage, and actually it is difficult to prove knowledge expansion and qualitative effect. The advent of the knowledge-based society in 21st century, however, has told us that unwritten realms are more creative. Therefore interest in cognition of non-literary realms rather than the literary realms of intelligence has increased. Accumulation of experience in general and cognitive experience in particular is the most important trait of ceramic education. Such emphasis is a strength element of ceramic education that differentiates it from other disciplines. It cannot be negated that the acme of individuality in ceramic education consists of the attainment of monistic state in the realm of individual achievement, which is arguably more important than acquisition of skills or techniques. So cognitive development and ceramic education should be understood as closely related realms that supplement each other. First of all, we should be prepare contents of ceramic based in cognitive development of university students for the necessity and knowledge expansion of ceramic education. Co-researchers in this paper research steps of cognitive development within their professional practical contents and they try to systematization. I hope this research will be the base of the value and knowledge expansion in the future of ceramic education.
