국문 초록

해방이후 지금까지 60여년 동안 한국의 생활도자기에 관해서 그 역사와 발전에 대한 흐름과 변화에 대하여 부분적으로나마 논한 건이 없어 본인은 이에 산업도자기에 종사하면서 그 변화의 맥을 찾아 조명하고 후세에 전하여 조금이나마 우리의 산업도자기 발전에 보탬이 되고자 한다. 해방이전의 한국의 산업은 식민지 산업으로 자주적 입장을 취하지 못하고 일본 경제의 일부분으로서만(7.9%)존속하여 오면서 도자기 산업은 아예 일본인들만 운영하는 모순을 보여오던 중 해방과 더불어 우리 도자기 업계가 자주적으로 문을 열기 시작하였으나, 지금에 와서 그 흔적과 기록이 거의 없는 상태에서 「한국생활도자기의 50년」을 조명하기는 무척 어려움이 있어 정확한 기록은 2차, 3차에 걸쳐서 재 연구되어야 할 것으로 보고, 이번 기록은 몸소 체험하고 그간 짧은 시간에 수집한 것들을 정리하는 것이며 학구적이거나 학술적인 것은 많은 시간을 가지고 파악해야 할 것이다. 산업도자기의 Design변천과 기법의 흐름은 다음 논문에서 기술, 기기 등 Design에 필요한 자세한 자료와 역사를 논하기로 하겠다.

영문 초록

No studies have ever been conducted at least in part on the history, trends of evolution, and changes of everyday pottery in Korea during the period of more than 60 years up to now since the Liberation of Korea. Therefore, engaged in the area of industrial pottery, the author aims to investigate trends of changes of industrial pottery in order to pass down the tradition to our next generation and contribute to the development of industrial pottery in Korea. Before the Liberation, industry in Korea was seen simply as colonial industry(7.9%) belonging to the Japanese economy, rather than independent industry, and Japanese monopolized the pottery industry. The Liberation paved the way for the Korean pottery industry to be independent. However, on account of rare traces and records, it is highly difficult to examine 「50 Years of the Korean Everyday Pottery, so further studies should be made in the form of 2nd or 3rd study, in relation with correct records on the Korean everyday pottery. This record is merely based on the author s personal experiences and materials collected for a relatively short time so far, and scientific or academic materials are considered to require much more time to obtain. As far as the changes in design and technical trends of the Korean industrial pottery are concerned, its history as well as detailed materials such as techniques and tools needed for design will be discussed in the next paper.
