국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 학교 상담에서 게슈탈트 심리치료의 대표적인 기법인 빈의자대화(empty-chair dialogue)의 적용 가능성을 탐색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 우선 빈의자대화의 치료원리 및 방법을 살펴보고, 다음으로 학교 상담에서 나타나는 문제를 해결하는 차원에서 빈의자대화의 적용 가능성을 탐색하였다. 본고에서 다룬 학생상담에서 빈의자대화를 적용할 수 있는 문제로는 중요한 대상의 상실로 인한 애도, 대인 관계적 갈등, 특정 타인 및 장면과 관련된 자기주장 및 행동 연습 등이다. 이러한 문제와 관련하여 빈의자대화의 적용 가능성을 논의하였다. 이어 빈의자대화를 통해 아동 및 청소년이 당면한 문제를 해결하는 과정에서 획득되는 교육적 효과와 적용상의 한계를 논의하였다. 끝으로 추후의 연구에 대해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the applicability of empty-chair dialogue of Gestalt psychotherapy in school counseling. Th this end, first the therapeutic principles and methods of empty-chair dialogue were examined, and then the applicability of empty chair dialogue was explored in order to solve the problems that appear in school counseling. Problems that can be applied to empty-chir dialogue in school counseling covered in this paper include grief due to loss of importatnt persons, interpersonal conflicts, and self-assertion and expression exercises related to specific others and scenes. In relation to this problem,, the applicability of the empty chair dialogue was discussed. Subsepuently, the educational effects and precautions obtained in the process of solving the problems facing children and adolescents through empty chair dialogue were discussed. Finally, suggestions were presented for further studies.
