인상학을 적용한 여성 독립운동가의 성격 분석에 관한 연구

국문 초록

무대분장은 관객들로 하여금 작품 속 캐릭터를 이해시키기 위한 작업이므로 시각적인 효과를 갖춘 캐릭터를 완성하기 위해 이론적 배경이 되는 인상학(人相學)을 바탕으로 하여 극중 배역에 알맞은 인물을 창조하는 무대 분장이 필요하나 인상학을 근거하여 실제 분장사례를 활용한 연구는 미흡하다. 인상학은 사람의 얼굴을 보고 그 사람의 성격적인 특징과 정서적인 특징을 판단할 수 있으므로 관객에게 등장인물의 성격과 부합하는 캐릭터를 제시하기 위한 인상학적 분석은 매우 중요한 일이다. 본 연구에서는 인상학을 이론적 근거로 삼아 고찰하여 캐릭터 창출에 있어서 인상학 요소가 어떻게 효과적으로 적용되는지 살펴 보다 체계적이고 학문적인 분장 디자인을 제시하는 기초자료로의 제공을 목적으로 한다. 이에 본 연구는 여성 독립운동가 5명을 선정하여 사진 및 이미지를 수집하고 인상학의 특징에 따른 성격을 분석하였다. 여성 독립운동가는 유관순을 비롯하여 동시대에 활발히 활동했던 독립운동가를 선정하였고 인상학적 요소는 얼굴형, 눈썹형태, 눈의 형태, 코의 형태, 입의 형태로 구분하였다. 여성 독립운동가의 인상학적 특징으로 성격을 유추하여 여성 독립운동가와 같은 강인한 성격의 여성 캐릭터를 창출하는 분장 디자인을 제시할 수 있다. 분석한 결과, 독립운동가의 강인한 여성성을 잘 나타낼 수 있는 인상은, 얼굴형은 사각형이며 올라간 형태나 일자형태의 눈썹, 쌍꺼풀이 없는 가느다라며 올라간 눈, 짧은 코, 곧은 입술로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 독립운동가와 같은 강인함을 나타내야 하는 캐릭터 창출과 무대공연 분장에서 분장 디자인에 관한 자료로 사용될 것을 기대할 수 있다. 작품이 요구하는 극중 인물 창조 및 역할에 따른 체계적인 작품분석과 분장 계획을 통한 구체적 결과는 공연예술 분야의 발전을 가져올 것이라 사료된다.

영문 초록

The stage makeup is based on the character of the characters in the film, which is based on the theory of character in the works, but the actual makeup of the characters is needed to create characters worthy of the character of the characters. Seeing a person’s character can judge character’s character traits and emotional characteristics, the impression of a memorable character is critical to presenting characters that fit the character’s character. Based on the theoretical basis of study, the study aims to provide a fundamental basis for providing a more systematic and scholarly design to produce a more systematic and scholarly design. The study selected five female independence activists and analyzed the characteristics of images and images and analyzed characteristics according to the characteristics of personality. The female independence activist selected an independent activist, who actively worked in the same period, and the impression of the face was divided into facial type, shape of eyebrows, shape of eye, shape of nose, and shape of mouth. One can create a makeup design that creates characters like female independence activists by analogy with female independence activists and creates strong characters such as female independence activists. As a result of the analysis, the impression that the independence of the independence activist exhibits the strong womanly qualities is marked by a square shape, an elevated shape, an elevated face, a thin nose, a short nose, and a straight nose. The results of this study can be expected to be used as a material for makeup design in costumes and stage performances, such as creating character traits such as independence activists. Based on the creation and role of the characters and the makeup of the characters in the film, the detailed findings of the performance of the arts are expected to bring about the development of the arts.
