국문 초록

코로나 19사태로 ICT와 콘텐츠가 결합한 융합콘텐츠 산업 분야가 트렌드로 부상되고 있으며, 전국 지자체와 콘텐츠 거점기관은 지역의 특화된 융합콘텐츠 산업을 육성하기 위해서 경쟁력 있는 콘텐츠 IP 확보를 위해 치열한 경쟁을 하고 있다. 본 논문은 2021년 12월에 개소한 경북 콘텐츠 기업지원센터를 중심으로 지역 콘텐츠 산업진흥 인프라의 목표와 역할에 대해서 논하였다. 경북 콘텐츠 기업지원센터는 운영의 문제점을 최소화하고 지역 콘텐츠 기업이 필요한 콘텐츠 지원체계 수립을 위해서 지역인재 창출과 콘텐츠 IP 발굴, 지역자원과 연계한 융합콘텐츠 범위 확대, 네트워크 인프라 연계·활용, 산학 및 협력체계 구축 등 핵심 전략을 도출했다. 또한 콘텐츠 코리아 랩 등 인프라 간 유사 사업을 방지하고 콘텐츠 산업 허브 기능 플랫폼 역할 수행이 요구된다. 본 논문은 경북 콘텐츠 기업지원센터라는 센터가 대표모델로 제시되었기 때문에 이러한 기초 자료를 분석하는 연구와 논의가 지속되어야 하고 궁극적으로는 전국 다른 지역의 사례와 연구를 통해 지역 콘텐츠 산업 진흥 정책을 비교·분석하는 논의는 향후 연구에서도 지속 추진될 것이다.

영문 초록

In the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, the convergence content industry combined with ICT and content is emerging as a trend, and local governments and content hubs across the country are going into intense competition to secure competitive content IPs to nurture the region s specialized convergence content industry. This thesis examined the goals and roles of regional content industry promotion infrastructure, with particular focus on the Gyeongbuk Content Enterprise Support Center, which opened in December 2021. The Gyeongbuk Content Enterprise Support Center formulated key strategies such as cultivating local talent, discovering content IPs, broadening the scope of convergence contents in conjunction with local resources, and utilizes network infrastructure, and establishing industry-academic and cooperation systems. Besides, it is required to effectively prevent similar projects between infrastructures such as Content Korea Lab and to function as a hub functional platform for the content industry. Since the center titled Gyeongbuk Content Enterprise Support Center was presented as a representative model, research and discussion on the analysis of these basic data should move forward, and eventually, discussions on comparing and analyzing regional content industry promotion policies through cases and research in other regions across the country will continue in future studies.
