‘먼 곳’으로부터 아픔과 ‘이행’의 괴로움

국문 초록

올해로 탄생 1백주년을 맞는 김수영 시인의 연구와 평가에 관련된 수많은 논문들과 축적된 성과가 가히 놀랍기만 하다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 그의 시에 대한 학문적인 접근이 주로 잘 알려진 시에 집중되어 반복되고 있는 형편이다. 특히 ‘반김수영’을 표방하는 이들은 이러한 이행과 관련된 시들을 ‘난해 시’로 분류하면서 곧잘 비판 대상으로 삼고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 그의 시에 대한 일부의 반감이나 몰이해는, 바로 그의 시에 드러나고 있는 시적 난해성(l’hermétisme)에 대한 진지한 접근과 깊이 있는 연구의 부족에서 온다. 특히 그것들은 두 개 혹은 그 이상의 텍스트 간의 공존관계를 의미하는 ‘상호텍스트성’과 동일한 방식으로 하나의 텍스트가 자기 자신을 참조하는 작품 ‘내적 텍스트성’에 대한 간과에서 온다고 할 수 있다. 예컨대 김수영의 시의 난해시의 하나로 손꼽히는 김수영의 시 「X에서 Y로」가 그렇다. 이 시를 제대로 이해하기 위해선, 김수영이 그의 산문 「시여, 침을 뱉어라」, 「시작 노트7」과 그의 시 「설사의 알리바이」에서 언급하고 있는 ‘이행’의 의미에서 대한 정확한 이해와 그에 따른 정밀한 해석이 필요하다. 한 지점에서 다른 지점으로 나아감이 아니라 서로 좁힐 수 없는 일정한 거리나 차이를 유지하면서도 어떤 곳과 다른 곳이 서로 어울려져 다가오는 본질적인 방식으로서 이행과 이에 따른 아픔과 ‘괴로움’의 의미에 대한 파악이 그의 난해 시를 이해하는 선결조건이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 이 논문에선 그가 언급하고 있는 ‘이행’의 다양한 의미와 그에 바탕한 관점에서 그의 시적 ‘난해성’의 해명을 위한 실마리를 마련해보고자 한다. 그러면서 여전히 더 깊고 폭넓은 이해와 해석을 기다리고 있는 그의 시적 텍스트의 비밀의 한 자락을 살펴볼 작정이다.

영문 초록

This year a hundredth anniversary of birth’s poet Kim Sooyoung, It is wonderful event for us to be piled high with lots of research and theses achievement for his relating with his poetic world. Nevertheless, repetitively the scholarship access to his poems has concentrate on his the famous poems. Particularly, some so-called ‘Anti-Kim Sooyoungs’ has criticize unfavorably to denigrate his any of poems unintelligible. But some antipathy and nonunderstandings for his poems has result from lack of serious access and deep study for his poetic ambiguity(l’hermétisme). Most of all, their’s reasonless blames has result from passing association with intertextuality and intratextuality. For example, his poem 「from X to Y」 gives a demonstration of us this case exactly. Directly with a view to understanding for his poem, we need to study and understand ‘enforcement’s meaning precisely that mention in his prose 「Poems, spit saliva」, 「poetic note 7」 and his poem 「the diarrhea of alibi」. At the same time, it is an essential prerequisite to understand signification’s ‘enforcement’ that maintaining non-narrowable distance and differences but going well together with ‘enforcement’ as a inherent method and relating to his ‘pain’ and ‘suffering’. So in this thesis I try to looking for a clue in the point of view with his terminology ‘enforcement’s various senses. At time, I expect to peep into his poetic text’s secrets that waiting deeper, wide understanding and interpretations as ever.
