국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 강점인식과 진로선택몰입의 관계에서 진로적응성의 매개효과를 검증하는데있다. 이를 위해 288명의 대학생을 대상으로 온라인 설문방식을 통해 자료를 수집하고, SPSS 22와 SPSS Process Macro 4를 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 강점인식은진로적응성에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로적응성은 진로선택몰입에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 강점인식과 진로선택몰입의 관계를 진로적응성이 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대학생의 진로선택몰입을 촉진하기 위해서는 진로적응성을 높일 수 있는 개입이 중요하다는것을 시사한다. 본 연구는 진로지도 및 상담에서 진로선택몰입을 촉진할 수 있는 효과적인 개입전략을 세우는데 중요한 시사점을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of career adaptability in the relationship between strengths knowledge and commitment to career choice of undergraduate students. Data were collected from 288 undergraduate students through an online questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 22 and SPSS Process Macro 4. The main results of this study are as follows. First, strengths knowledge was found to have a positive effect on career adaptability. Second, career adaptability was found to have a positive effect on commitment to career choice Third, career adaptability completely mediates the relationship between strengths knowledge and commitment to a career choice. Based on the aforementioned results, effective interventions to increase career adaptability will also increase students’ commitment to career choice. In conclusion, the findings will serve as an effective tool to provide practical intervention strategies in order to promote commitment to career choice by usage of career adaptability and strengths knowledge in counseling and guidance.
