국문 초록

코로나-19의 전 세계적인 유행은 보건의료종사자에게 가장 도전적인 과제 중 하나이다. 기존 연구들은코로나-19 팬데믹이 보건의료종사자의 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 주로 탐색하였다. 반면 정신건강을 위한지원 관련 연구는 드문 상황이다. 본 연구는 코로나-19 팬데믹 기간 중 보건의료종사자의 정신건강증진을위해 시행된 지원 방안을 다룬 연구결과를 고찰하였다. 2020년 1월부터 2021년 10월까지 발표된 논문을대상으로 국내외 데이터베이스를 활용해 검색한 논문 79편 중 본 연구의 요건에 부합하는 8편의 연구결과를 최종 분석하였다. 짝비교를 통해 분석 대상 논문의 질 평가를 시행하였고, 기술통계를 활용해 일반적인 특성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 지원 방안은 크게 도구적 지원과 정서적 지원으로 구분되었다. 도구적 지원은 보다 안전하고 건강한 환경 제공을 위한 의료기관 내 시설 재배치 및 재구성을 비롯해 개인보호장비의 제공, 코로나-19 관련 다양한 정보 제공이 포함되었다. 정서적 지원은 음악치료를 포함한 심리치료 외에 동료 지지, 디지털 플랫폼과 전화를 활용한 상담서비스 등이 시행되었다. 본 연구는 장기간 이어지는 코로나-19 위기가 보건의료종사자의 정신건강에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 예방하고 관리하기 위한지속가능한 지원 방안의 개발과 시행의 필요성을 제기한다.

영문 초록

The COVID-19 pandemic represents one of the most challenging events of recent times, especially in healthcare workers. Published literatures have focused mainly on the impact of the pandemic on mental health among healthcare workers and less on the support to promote mental health. This study has reviewed narratively the existing literatures concerning the supports to mental health problems and psychological symptoms among healthcare workers during COVID-19 outbreak. From January 2020 to October 2021, total seventy nine articles have been investigated and eight articles were finally selected in accord with the requirements of research purpose. A pair comparison was performed for quality of chosen articles and have analyzed the general characteristics of the selected articles using descriptive statistics. The supports performed to address mental health conditions in healthcare workers during COVID-19 pandemic were grouped into two categories: instrumental and emotional measures. Instrumental measures have included provision of equipment and information as well as reorganization of healthcare facilities to ensure safer and healthier environments. Emotional measures have incorporated psychological therapy, peer support, and counselling using digital platform and telephone. The results of this study emphasize the development and implementation of sustainable support measures.
