국문 초록

이 연구는 남북이 가지고 있는 문화이질성 극복을 위하여 서로 교류하고 상호작용하는 과정에서 차이를 인지하고, 상대방의 문화에 대한 문화적 차이를 존중하는 과정에서 남과 북이 함께 공존할 수 있으며, 나아가 이런 공존의 과정에서 동질성을 발견해내고 끈끈한 유대를 맺어 남북관계의 퇴행을 막을 수 있다는 문제의식에서 출발한다. 본 연구에서 말하고자하는 바 남북한의 음악적 통합이 궁극적으로 남북한의통일에 기여하기 위해서는 우선 우리와 유사한 분단의 아픔과 통합의 과정을 경험하였던 독일의 통일 과정에 대한 심도 있는 연구가 선행되어야 할 것이다. 과거 독일의 경험에서 보듯이, 사회·문화 분야의 교류협력이 결국 정치적 신뢰로 이어진 점은 우리에게 시사하는 바가 크다고 하겠다. 따라서 같은 민족이면서도 이념적으로 공산주의와 자유주의로 대립하였던 동서독의 통일 노력 속에서 나타난 ‘음악교류를 통한 사회통합 효과’에 대한 실증적 현장 분석 작업이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

In order to overcome the cultural heterogeneity of the two Koreas, this study recognizes the differences in the process of exchanging and interacting with each other, and respects the cultural differences of the other side, so that the South and the North can coexist together. It starts from the awareness of the problem that it can prevent the degeneration of inter-Korean relations by discovering homogeneity in the process and forming a strong bond. In order for the musical integration of the two Koreas to ultimately contribute to the unification of the two Koreas, an in-depth study on the German unification process, which experienced the same pain and process of division as ours, should be preceded. As seen in Germany s past experience, the fact that exchanges and cooperation in the social and cultural fields eventually led to political trust is of great significance to us. Therefore, an empirical field analysis of the social integration effect through music exchange that emerged in the unification efforts of East and West Germany, which was ideologically opposed by communism and liberalism, even though they were of the same nationality, should be carried out.
