국문 초록

본 연구는 콘라트 파울 리스만의 저서 『몰교양 이론-지식사회의 오류들』을 대상으로 하여 지식사회의 허상과 몰교양의 등장, 이로 인한 대학과 교육의 문제들을 살펴본 것이다. 저자는 일련의 저서들을 통해 대학 개혁의 허상 및 부정성을 살피고, 현재 대학 교육의 갈 길을 모색하고 있다. 유럽은 물론 세계 전역에서 공통적으로 드러나는 대학사회의 문제점들을 공감하면서 이 시대 교양의 정체와 본질을 성찰하고 있다. 콘라트 파울 리스만의 저서가 주목되는 것은 그의 사유와 제언이 우리 한국사회에도 관통하는 공감역 안에 있기 때문이다. 우리 시대의 교양을 되물어 교양의 제자리를 찾기 위해 저자의 분석과 전망을 참고할 필요가 있다. 현재 21세기 한국사회 역시 급속한 대학개혁이 진행되고 있으며, 그 방향은 기업이나 수요자들의 요구와 맞닿아 있다. 그러나 대학이 지식과 교양의 본래적 가치를 지키는 것이 중요하고, 올바른 인간을 길러내기 위한 교육적 사명을 감당해야 한다는 점은 분명하다. 대학의 학문이 자유와 성숙을 위한 성찰을 통해 진리를 세우는 역할을 해야 한다는 것이다. 그러한 점에서 현재 우리의 대학 개혁은 여전히 ‘통제’나 ‘경영’ 속에서 이루어지는 것이므로 이에 대한 반성과 새출발이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the problems of college and education resulting from the emergence of virtual society and knowledge of the knowledge society, based on Konrad Paul Liessmann s book [Theory of Unbildung-Errors of Knowledge Society]. The author examines the illusions and negativity of university reform through a series of books, and is currently seeking a path to university education. It reflects on the problems of the university society that are common in Europe and around the world, and reflects on the essence and essence of culture in this era. Conrat Paul Lissmann s book is noticed because his thoughts and suggestions are in sympathetic terms that penetrate our Korean society. It is necessary to consult the author s analysis and prospects to recapture the culture of our time and find the place for it. Currently, the 21st century Korean society is also undergoing rapid university reform, and its direction is in line with the needs of companies and consumers. It is clear, however, that it is important for universities to keep the original values of knowledge and liberal arts, and to fulfill the educational mission to cultivate the right humans. It means that university studies should play a role in establishing truth through reflection for freedom and maturity. In this regard, we can say that the reform of our university is still in control or management , so we need to reflect on it and start anew.
