국문 초록

본 연구는 미래 교육환경에서 요구되어지는 영어 디지털 교과서의 내용 속성을 반영하는 콘텐츠 유형을 도출하고, 통합적 조직을 통한 영어 디지털 교과서의 내용 구성 모델을 개발하고자 하였다. 그 결과 의사소통상황맥락형, 에듀테인먼트형, 스토리활용형, 자원기반 프로젝트수행형의 총4종의 영어과 콘텐츠 유형이 도출되었으며, 이들은 다시 학습자의 학습 경험 속성이나 활용 과제 및 자료의 속성, 구현 테크놀로지 속성 등에 의해, 의사소통상황맥락형은 제시형, 체험형, 구성형으로, 에듀테인먼트형은 퀴즈형, 게임형, 다중지능활용 과제수행형으로, 그리고 스토리활용형은 문학작품활용형과 에피소드활용형으로 세분화되었다. 각 유형에 대한 개념과 세부 형태를 기술하고 개략적으로나마 교수·학습 절차와 단계별 설계전략을 규명하였으며, 그 적용 방안을 제시함으로써 영어 디지털 교과서의 콘텐츠 유형에 대한 아이디어를 시사하였다. 또한, 도출된 콘텐츠 유형의 통합적 적용을 통해 단원 중심의 영어 디지털 교과서의 내용 구성 모델을 구안하고 그 구성 요소별 설계 전략을 제시함으로써 향후 영어 디지털 교과서의 내용 설계에 대한 가이드라인을 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 콘텐츠 유형들은 맹목적이고 배타적으로 적용하기보다는, 교수·학습 과정상에서 필요한 맥락에 맞게 각 유형들의 핵심적 아이디어들이 통합적으로 고려되는 설계 전략이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aims to derive contents types reflecting English digital textbook properties and develop English digital textbook contents constructional model based on integrated organization of contents types that upcoming future educational environments call for. Four types of English contents types are resulted from the study: communicative situational context type, edutainment type, story-based type, resource-driven project type. They re further classified based on learners learning experiences, properties of tasks, materials and technology. Communicative situational context type is divided into presentational subtype, experiential subtype and constructive subtype; edutainment type into subtypes using quizzes, games and task-based multiple intelligence performances; story-based type into subtypes utilizing literary works and episodes. The study describes concepts and detailed forms for each type and each subtype. It also schematically proposes teaching-learning procedures and design strategies for each step in the procedure. The efforts lead to the proposition of new ideas on the English digital textbook contents types in process of searching for applicational models of such types. The guidelines for the future English digital textbook contents design are suggested by applying these derived contents types into lesson-based integrated English digital textbook contents construction. The study is not intended to suggest these contents types to be applied in their literal senses. These contents types are flexible enough to accommodate immediate contexts of different teaching and learning procedures in their design strategies by employing only the key concepts of necessary types and subtypes.
