학생들이 인식하는 초등교사유형에 따른 체육수업의 문제점 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생들의 시각에서 바라본 체육수업의 문제점을 분석하여 체육수업의 정상화를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 서울특별시, 부산광역시, 대전광역시에 재학 중인 초등학생 894명을 대상으로 t-검정을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 첫째, 교사의 성별에 따라 초등학생이 인식하는 체육수업의 문제점에서 ‘수업방법’은 남교사가 여교사보다 높게 나타났으며, ‘수업정상화’는 여교사가 남교사보다 높게 인식되었다. 그러나 ‘수업운영’, ‘교사’, ‘수업내용’, ‘수업평가’ 문제에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 교사의 유형(담임, 전담)에 따라 초등학생이 인식하는 체육수업 문제점에서는 ‘수업방법’, ‘수업운영’, ‘교사’, ‘수업내용’, ‘수업정상화’, 그리고 ‘수업평가’ 문제 모두에서 담임교사가 전담교사보다 높게 인식되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 현장에서의 교사들은 스스로를 반성하는 기회를 갖는 한편 수업개선을 위한 방안을 찾는데 힘써야 하며, 더 나아가 체육수업의 정상화를 위해 연구하고 노력하는 자세로 현장에 임해야 하는 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This research is aimed to provide a groundwork for the normalization of physical education classes by analysing their problems according to students perspective. The t-test was conducted targeting 894 elementary school students in Seoul, Busan and Daejeon. As a result of it, first, the problems in normalization of physical education classes were more highly recognized in the classes guided by female teachers than male teachers, while those in teaching methods were more highly by male teachers than female teachers. There were no significant difference in the management of class, teacher s problems, class materials, and student assessment. Second, in the issue of their recognition of the problems according to the type of teachers(teacher in charge, teacher in complete charge) for physical education classes, there appeared to be no significant difference in relation to class normalization, while in relation to the class methods, class management, teacher s problems, class materials, and students assessment, it appeared that class teachers in charge were perceived more highly problematic than teachers in complete charge of their students.
