초등교사의 자기성찰에 대한 체험분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 초등교사의 자기성찰 체험에서 나타나는 상황적, 정서적 공통요인과 체험과정이 어떤 것인지를 탐색해 보는 데 있다. 이를 위해, 이 연구에서는 현상을 체험하는 연구자가 직접 자신의 체험 속으로 들어가 체험현상의 의미를 파악하고, 그 현상에 효율적으로 대처하는 전략을 찾도록 돕는 방법인 체험분석을 사용하였다. 연구대상은 1년 이상 20년 이하의 경력을 지닌 초등교사 8명이었다. 이들은 공동연구자로서 각각 자신의 자기성찰 체험을 3회 이상 작성하고, 2개의 집단으로 나뉘어져 자기성찰 체험에 대한 집단합의과정에 참여하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 초등교사가 자기성찰을 경험하는 상황적 공통요인으로 ‘의미 있는 타인과 관계를 맺을 때’, ‘관계를 사려 깊게 바라볼 때’, ‘당연하게 바라보던 상황을 낯설게 경험할 때’, ‘주위 현상을 있는 그대로 바라볼 때’로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등교사가 자기성찰 과정에서 경험하는 정서적 공통요인은 ‘화남’, ‘당황함’, ‘미안함’, ‘만족감’으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등교사가 자기성찰을 경험하는 과정은 유발, 탐색, 이해, 실천, 확산의 5단계로 개념화할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 자기성찰은 진정성을 바탕으로 한 관계 속에서 실현된다는 점과 자기성찰의 체험 과정에서 긍정적 확산을 이끌어내기 위해서는 적극적인 실천의 단계가 중요하다는 점을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to explore similarities in situation and emotion and to find its experience process. This study employed the experience analysis which is the way to search effectively responding strategies for the situation. Eight elementary school teachers who have teaching experience 1 to 20 years participated in this research. These teachers, as joint researchers, were asked to write more than 3 self-reflections, and were divided into two groups of four to share and discuss about their opinions about their self-reflection experiences. The results of this research were as follows: Firstly, elementary school teachers experience self-reflections commonly, specifically when having a relationship with people in school, when thinking thoughtfully about the their own relationship, when experiencing embarrassment in some natural and definite situations, and when accepting the situation as it is; Secondly, these teachers were able to experience aggravation , embarrassment , sorrow , and self-satisfaction affects. Lastly, these teachers were able to conceptualize cause , exploration , understanding , action , and dissemination stages. This study suggests that the self reflection was realized by authentic relationship with others in real life, and the positive practical steps are quite important to raise a positive dissemination during the self reflection procedure.
