국문 초록

이 연구는 중･고등학교에서 근무하는 경력 10년 내외의 교사 48명을 대상으로 ‘모든’, ‘어떤’이 있는 명제에 대한 교수학적 내용 지식의 특징을 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 관련 선행 연구를 검토하여 지필 검사 문항 개발의 주요 관점을 추출하고 이에 비추어 검사 문항을 개발하였다. 개발한 검사 문항을 활용하여 지필 검사를 실시한 다음, 검사 결과는 선행 연구 검토를 통해 구체화된 주요 이슈를 분석틀로 삼아 그 특징을 기술하였다. 이로부터 ‘모든’, ‘어떤’이 있는 명제에 대한 ‘교과 내용 지식’ 및 ‘학생의 이해에 대한 지식’의 두 가지 측면에서 교사들이 보인 교수학적 내용 지식의 특징을 6가지로 요약하였다. 이러한 교수학적 내용 지식의 특징은 명제 지도와 관련된 교사 교육 프로그램의 설계와 실행에 의미있는 시사를 줄 수 있다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to analyze characteristics of teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge about a proposition with ‘all’ or ‘some’. In order to achieve the aim, this study examined previous researches related to such a proposition and developed a questionnaire with reference to the results of the examination about the previous researches. The questionnaire was given to 48 teachers and qualitative methods were used to analyze the data obtained from the written responses by the participants. This study also developed the framework descriptors for this analysis in the light of the examination about the previous researches and the data was interpreted in terms of this framework. The specific features of teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge about a proposition with ‘all’ or ‘some’ were categorized into six types as a result. This study raised several implications for teachers professional development for effective mathematics instruction.
