시민참여 활성화를 위한 문화매개자 역할 분석

국문 초록

예술은 반복되는 경험을 통해 사회 문제 해결을 위한 자발적인 행동을 유도하고, 공동체 의식을 강화하여 지역 활성화 및 삶의 질 향상에 영향을 미친다. 예술의 긍정적인 사회적 효과 확대를 위해서는 예술가, 활동가로서 존재하는 문화매개자의 역할 및 역량이 중요하다. 본 연구는 문화매개자에 대한 국내 연구 동향 분석을 통해 문화매개자의 특성을 파악하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 체계적인 문헌고찰을 통해 연구자가 선별한 국내 44편의 문헌을 바탕으로 키워드를 수집하고, 키워드출현 빈도분석, 네트워크분석을 시행하였다. 본 연구 결과는 첫째, 2009년부터 2021년 중 예술정책추진과제로 문화예술전문인력 양성이 언급된 2012년을 기점으로 국내에서 문화매개자라는 직군을 공식적으로 사용했음을 확인했다. 둘째, 키워드 빈도분석 시행 결과 문화예술, 문화매개자, 문화예술교육, 공동체, 참여, 소통, 경험, 시민참여가 고빈도로 확인되었다. 셋째, 네트워크 구조분석결과 문화예술, 문화매개자, 문화예술교육, 공동체가 연결 중심성, 매개 중심성, 고유벡터 중심성에서 모두 높게 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 문화매개자에 대한 시사점을 제시하고, 후속 연구 방향성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The art of social participation induces voluntary actions to solve social problems through repeated experiences and strengthens community consciousness to influence regional revitalization and improve the quality of life. In order to increase the positive social effects of art, the role and ability of cultural intermediaries, who exist as artists and activists, are important. The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of cultural intermediaries by analyzing domestic research trends on cultural intermediaries. Through a systematic literature review and collected keywords based on 44 domestic literature selected by researchers, keywords analysis, visualization, and network analysis were performed. First, the result of his study from 2009 to 2021 confirmed that the group job of cultural intermediaries was officially used in Korea, starting from 2012, when the cultivation of cultural and arts professionals were mentioned as art policy promotion tasks. Second, as a result of frequency analysis of keywords, cultural arts, cultural intermediaries, arts and culture education, community, participation, communication, experience, and civic participation were frequently confirmed. Third, as a result of analysis of network structure, cultural arts, cultural intermediaries, cultural arts education, and community were high in degree-centrality, betweenness-centrality, and eigenvector-centrality. Based on these research results, cultural intermediaries and the direction of subsequent research were suggested.
