마을공동체 미디어 활동가들의 활동체계와 확장학습 경험 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 마을공동체 미디어 활동가들의 활동에 주목해 활동체계를 분석하고, 그들의 확장학습경험의 의미를 드러내고자 하였다. 확장학습은 활동이론을 기반으로 해서 공동체에서 개인의 활동이 갖는 학습경험을 효과적으로 분석할 수 있는 이론적 체계를 갖추고 있다. 연구를 위해 ‘커뮤니티 플랫폼 이유’ 사례의 구성원들 중 연구 참여자 3명을 선정해 연구현상을 있는 그대로 드러내고자 현상학적 질적 연구방법으로 수행하였다. 그런 다음 미디어 활동체계를 분석해 확장학습 경험을 이해하고자 하였다. 연구결과 마을공동체 미디어 활동가들은 미디어 활동체계를 통해 마을과 평생학습을 잇고, 창발적 미디어 활동체계를 생성해 학습을 이어갔다. 미디어 활동가들은 이웃의 이야기로 새로운 세상을 만나고, 매듭 엮기를 발판으로 삼아 배움의 관계맺음으로 경계를 넘나들며 넓어진 세상에서 함께 성장하고 있었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 논의하고 그에 따른 후속연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the activity system by focusing on the activities of media activists of the village community and to reveal the meaning of their expansive learning experiences. Expansive learning has a theoretical system that can effectively analyze the learning experience of individual activities in the community based on activity theory. For the study, three research participants were selected among the members of the “Community Platform Eyu” and used phenomenological qualitative research method to reveal the research phenomena as they are. Then, by analyzing the media activity system, I tried to understand the expansive learning experience. As a result of the study, village community media activists connected village and lifelong learning through media activity systems, and continued learning by creating emergent media activity systems. Media activists were growing together in a wider world by meeting new worlds through the stories of their neighbors and crossing the boundaries through learning relationships using the weaving of knots as a foothold. Based on the results of the study, discussions were conducted and subsequent studies were suggested.
